The Filipino Thought

Point
Filipino thought, for me, is something that is original to the Filipinos.
This is the way Filipinos perceive the world and the way they respond to
everyday experiences. I believe that there are a lot of contributing factors which
helped shaped the Filipino thought.

Reason
In my own perception, Filipino thought is affected with the fundamental
beliefs as an individual Filipino and as universal. The behavioral worldview of
every Filipino also can affect the way he/she behaves. We cannot deny also that
Westerners have played big part in shaping the Filipino thought.

Explanation
We all have beliefs. We conform with what we see in our environment.
Thus, the environment would somehow contribute in developing us as a person.
The rich culture that we have is also blended with that of the historical
knowledge that are being passed on from generation to generation..

Point
The Filipino thought or the philosophies of Filipinos are of great
importance as it remarks as the identity of every Filipino. Various things can
affect in developing and enriching our Filipino thought. As a teacher, I need to
be founded with the knowledge of my origin, my native land, my ancestors, and
everything that are contributory to Filipino thought since I am an agent in
transferring the rich culture of my country so as to preserve it.
