Globalization is an expansion and acceleration in the exchange of products around the world. i.e. goods,
services, technology etc. Solely it is an economic integration of markets worldwide. It promotes
interaction among people and culture to all countries globally. It is a worldwide movement toward
economic, financial, trade, communication integration. Globalization has been driven by policies that
have opened economies domestically and internationally. It is a force of nature, a phenomenon without
bounds or alternatives. Without Globalization we cannot assure that our economy will grow because
there is no trading. No economic, financial, trade, communication integration. If there’s globalization
there’s a tendency of international trade, investments, information technology and in-sourced
manufacturing to weave the economies of diverse countries together. So we can’t deny that
globalization has this great effect to our lives, to the economy. It has a very big impact to the life of
every people.

Learning Task 1.2 Analyzing Literature

Directions: With the knowledge learned carefully analyze the literature below. In not less than 100
words, share how it affects you as a student who is a product of multiculturalism. (Note: You can use a

As a student that that is a product of multiculturalism it is very hard for me to cope up, to adjust in this
new and very different environment. Hardships, trials, setbacks it holds me to keep on moving it’s like
we lost our freedom it is constraining me to keep on pressing. Just like the literature that I’ve read the
girl main character, she needs to hide her true identity for her to pursue her dreams. When she gets
there she fell in love but in a wrong time and place because the girl was destined to marry other man
her parents arrange her marriage already thus the guy he love die in sorrow. Their ends Is so tragic. This
is like in our studies, we don’t have freedom because there are a lot of hindrances, a lot of things that
you need to consider. Your family, financially, the environment you have etc.
