Globalization is a term with a lot to say and has a multitude of definitions

to connect with. Globalization refers to the acceleration of movements and
transactions (of people, products and services, money, technology, and cultural
practices) all over the world. One of the impacts of globalization is that it
encourages and enhances connections between various regions and communities
across the world. Globalization, in my opinion, is an uncontrollable event as it
has become so intertwined with our daily lives. We may not be able to see or feel
it with our senses, but it is a continuous process that no one can stop. It did
bring changes in our nation's structure, including the food we eat, the things we
use, the music we enjoy listening to, and the education we receive, and among
other things. As far as I can tell, globalization has made everything borderless,
and we can now access different cultures and connect with different
nationalities, which is a good thing for me because it allows us to form
friendships with other people and their respective countries. It's fun to imagine a
world in which everybody is nice to everyone else. We could also share what we
have, including our diverse cultures, delectable cuisine, and Filipino values.
Globalization has made communication and transportation more available. We
can easily send the necessary messages. Furthermore, the rise of globalization
shed light on the Philippines' economy as well as the economies of other
developing countries around the world. We were able to seek assistance in times
of emergency and tragedy.
However, I also consider globalization as evil in itself or as a panacea for
all the problems. Globalization seems to be a euphoric promise that not everyone
in the world has got it equally. As far as I can tell, most people, including
higher-ups, are blinded by the light it provides, casting only darkness on its
effects on Filipinos and most especially on our environment. Reading and
comprehending what lies beyond the word globalization induces me to ponder
what kind of future we will have. Globalization is a hazy reality that will
surprise us in the future, and it also encourages change in every aspect of our
lives as individuals, citizens, and members of the human race. In a globalized
world, inequality, exploitation, and corruption have increased despite advances
in technology, connectivity, and trade. To work properly, the economy needs
ethics. Everyone is at threat. I feel sorry and sad about how I see globalization.
Globalization is a certainty for industrialized and affluent countries, but it is a
source of potential misery for developing nations.
Globalization is first and foremost about people and their
interconnectedness, not about capital, markets, or competition. Economic growth
will not contribute to long-term stability and sustainability if it does not
guarantee justice for all. Since we cannot completely predict or visualize the
consequences and influence it may bring, it is important to think hundreds of
times before making a decision.
