DISCUSSION BOARD
After reading and performing your activity, explain your views whether the economic
globalization is something that unites or further divides the world.

Answer:

Globalization is a unifying force that is connecting societies more than ever before. Different
peoples and societies are banding together around shared interests and values, and different cultures,
political systems, and economic systems are shaping lives across borders. As a result, there have been
significant benefits, but they are not shared by the entire world. Not only are millions are also using
globalization to exploit the economies of developing countries. of people barred from reaping the
benefits of globalization, but the world’s powerful economies. Essentially, what we are witnessing today
is the disintegration of social barriers. This has been going on for as long as anyone can remember. In
prehistoric times, the overall decision-making unit shifted from the individual to the family, then to the
tribe, and so on. What we are witnessing now is merely the continuation of this process, from the
national to the supranational level. There have been numerous changes in each shift. With each change,
society has had to adapt. People are increasingly allowed specialize in the areas where they excel. Yes,
globalization brings about a slew of changes. The issue of cultural preservation is not even mentioned
here. Nonetheless, the end result of these changes is that people are now permitted, even encouraged,
to do what they do best. In my opinion, the fact that society is assisted in fully realizing its potential
leads a significant improvement in the overall outcome. In the end, that despite the disadvantages of
economic globalization we can still see the overall result of how it unifies the world.
