 Work Status :  Total area of slab for ground floor to be casted is 12400 ft 2,
and casting is completed for ground floor.
 1st Staircase is casted from ground floor to 1st floor.
 Shuttering and reinforcement work are completed for flight
of 1st staircase.
 2nd Staircase is casted from ground floor to 1st floor.
 41 numbers of columns are casted on 1st floor, total 68
columns is to be casted.
 Formwork and shuttering are started for 2nd floor roof slab.
 Reinforcement work is under progress for 2nd floor roof slab.
 Casting of roof slab will start in few days for area 3500 ft2.
 Bricklaying work is under progress on ground floor.
 Observation  Over all finishing of slabs, beams and columns is good but
needs to be more precise as honeycombing is observed in
few roof beams.
 Curing is done properly using gunny bags method and
sprinkling water method.
 Coverblocks used properly in columns, slabs and roof
beams.
 Joggle provided properly.
 Reinforcement: Gallant 500 & Balaji TMT Fe 500
 Cement: MP Birla cement
 Reinforcement for Construction work is dumped on the
natural ground.
 Suggestions  Cube testing need to be done regularly.
 Various material tests like cement test, aggregate test, brick
test, water test, steel test must be conducted so that quality
of the work must be improved.
 Testing of Concrete at site need to be recorded properly.
 Provision of Medical and Safety kits for workers need to be
provided at site
 Proper segregation of reinforcement of different dia. needs
to be stacked at least 150mm above the natural ground.
 Proper Curing need to be done at the site.
 Proper arrangement of QA/QC lab with all necessary
equipment’s need to be established at site for quality control
of on-going works
 Precautions against COVID-19 and government norms &
guidelines need to be followed at the site.
 Physical Progress (in %)  45-50% work completed out of total civil work.
 Financial Progress  Total payment done till date- 10322328.87/-

 Work Status :  Work is started on 25th June after lockdown.
 Shuttering work is under progress for ground floor roof
slab.
 In few days reinforcement work will start for roof slab.
 Almost 4700 ft2 of roof slab will be casted after
reinforcement work of thickness 125mm & 150mm.
 Total area to be casted is 11000 ft2.
 All columns are casted on ground floor.
 Bricklaying work is completed on ground floor to roof
level.
 Observation  Cement – ACC cement
 Reinforcement- Kay 2 Xenox 500
 Honeycombing observed in columns of a structure, in
columns and beams of boundary wall.
 Many technical errors are done like less lap length provided
in columns, less development length provided in roof beam,
hooks not provided properly in stiruups of columns.
 Joggle not provided in columns bars.
 Not using coverblocks.
 No testing equipment at site is available.
 No tests are performed at site.
 Suggestions  Works need to be more finished and accurate.
