Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome
coronavirus. It was first identified in December 2019 in Wuhan,Hubei,China and has resulted in an
ongoing pandemic.

As of 26 July 2020 more than 16 million cases have been reported across 188 countries and
territories resulting in more than 644000 cases 9.26 million people have been recovered.

Coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19 is also known by some other names such as

2) Corona

3) covid

4) 2019 nCov acute respiratory disease

5) SARS-COV-2

6) Novel coronavirus pneumonia

7) Severe pneumonia with novel pathogens

The virus is primarily spread between people of close contact and most often via small droplets
produced by coughing, sneezing and talking. Droplets usually fall to the ground and onto the surface

rather than travelling through air over a long distance.

The first case of which originated from China was reported on 30th of January 2020.

There are a total of 814 units of NCC around the country which trains candidates from 16597 schools
and colleges. In the view of global pandemic covid-19 NCC cadets I doing a vital task in spreading
awareness in the country. The National Cadet Corps for their services by the Civil and police
administration in the fight against covid-19 pandemic in the country.

According to the ministry of defence have been provided with prior training of the job. In a
statement some of the units have started providing their services from the local level itself.

At the helplines and call centres for covid-19 materials medicines food and essential commodities
community assistance data management and also handle the traffic and handle the CCTV control
room as per the requirements of the ministry.

As per the employment guidelines issued the state governments on the district administrators are
required to send to send employment of volunteering the candidates to NCC directorates. News
regarding coordinated at the directorate our group headquarters at the unit level with the state
governments for the local civil authority.

The NCC cadets Hindu state where playing an important role in sensitizing the masses regarding

The NCC Cadets have Joined India's fight against the coronavirus pandemic with Civil and police
administration of various districts seeking their services in the combat officials said on Monday. The
ministry of defence had recently allowed temporary employment of National Cadet Corps under
exercise NCC Yogdan and guidelines were also issued. Civil and police administration have started
requisitioning for services of Senior division National Cadet Corps cadet in fight against the
coronavirus pandemic. Summer giving services from today the ministry said in a statement.
