Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome
coronavirus. It was first identified in December 2019 in Wuhan,Hubei,China and has resulted in an
ongoing pandemic.
As of 26 July 2020 more than 16 million cases have been reported across 188 countries and
territories resulting in more than 644000 cases 9.26 million people have been recovered.
Coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19 is also known by some other names such as
1) coronavirus
2) Corona
3) covid
5) SARS-COV-2
The first case of which originated from China was reported on 30th of January 2020.
There are a total of 814 units of NCC around the country which trains candidates from 16597 schools
and colleges. In the view of global pandemic covid-19 NCC cadets I doing a vital task in spreading
awareness in the country. The National Cadet Corps for their services by the Civil and police
administration in the fight against covid-19 pandemic in the country.
According to the ministry of defence have been provided with prior training of the job. In a
statement some of the units have started providing their services from the local level itself.
