Whether or not you season the french fries before or after they are cooked
depends on the cooking method that you use:
Ad
• Deep Fried french fries are seasoned immediately after they’re !nished
frying.
• Baked or Air Fried fries are seasoned before they’re cooked. They’re brushed
with olive oil !rst to allow the seasoning to stick to the fries.
MY LATEST VIDEOS
• Use a pastry brush to lightly coat the french fries with olive oil.
• Sprinkle french fry seasoning as evenly as you can over the fries and bake at
400°F until warm and golden brown. about 20 minutes.
Deep-Fried Fries
• Have the combined french fry seasoning ready and use a slotted spoon to
remove the fries from the oil once they are golden-brown.
• Place them on a plate lined with paper towels and sprinkle them
immediately with french fry seasoning.
Storage
Store in an airtight container. Dried herbs and spices are best if used between 1-
3 years.
I recommend making this seasoning in bulk and storing them in these spices jars.
Aside from crispy homemade french fries, this seasoning is great in these
recipes:
• Chicken Wings
• Grilled Potatoes

Absolutely AMAZING!!!!
These fries were sooooooo yummy!!! Better than some fries you get
from restaurants. I chose to fry them, and I didn’t have onion salt, so I replaced
with onion powder and added some salt. Still came out delicious! The family
loved them!
Thank you for this recipe! De!nitely a keeper for all fries I make.
So happy that you like the recipe, thank you for taking the time
to leave a review! -Stephanie
I’m so happy to hear that you enjoy it Trish! You o#cially have
my permission to make this every day, ha!
I love this recipe as it is close to my own. I have not used thyme ,but
will try adding it. My secret is rosemary. To your mix I would add two
teaspoons of dried and ground rosemary. I love rosemary with potatoes and
with chicken as well so I think it is compatible with your recipe.
Hi Rick! Excited for you to try this, I’m a huge rosemary fan too-
great suggestion, it de!nitely goes perfectly with potatoes!
This is THE best seasoning recipe! I can’t have fries without it now, I
even add it to mashed and roasted potatoes! Thank you for this
recipe!!
