My observations have been going well and I’ve noticed that is getting easier as I
get to know my artifacts. The data collection is a bit sporadic, sometimes Its tiring
but I am learning the importance of discipline of myself and the entire process. It
became easier to see a pattern of management style and I can now compare my
management strategies this is how effective LDM course to me.

Now I am realizing that I feel connected to what I am doing. I have learnt that this
data gathering provided many insights into how learning and teaching could be
understood and on how to become effective in school.

In retrospect, It hasn’t been easy but challenging and interesting, it is a

refreshment and reviewing of what I am capable of in the classroom, teaching
management and others. It is fusing together my personal beliefs and values into
one as professional identity.

Being an educator and understanding the data I have gathered means to think the
processes and outcomes of my students, professional development, other work
efforts and find ways to not only progress but to appreciate little progress. There
are many obstacles that I am facing but I’m pushing beyond my limits and
strengthen my essentialist journey of being a teacher.
