EVALUATION

EAPP GROUP 3
What is Evaluation?
What is Evaluation?
Large scale organizations are engaged in multidimensional
activities. It is not possible for a single top executive to
keep personal watch on what others are doing. So, the
executive depends on reports to evaluate the performance
of various departments or units.
Example Situation:

School:
- Principal receives quarterly reports on student
performance, teacher evaluations, budget
utilization, and more.
- Reports help evaluate departments, identify
areas for improvement, and allocate resources
effectively.
Example Situation:

Business:
- CEO receives monthly reports on finance,
marketing, sales, operations, and human
resources.
- Reports assist in evaluating departmental
performance, assessing financial health, and
guiding decision-making.
Example Situation:

Politics:
- Government minister relies on
departmental reports to evaluate
performance, track policy
implementation, and allocate
resources effectively.
Example Situation:

Legal Firms:
- Managing partner receives regular reports
on case progress, client feedback, financial
performance, and more.
- Reports aid in evaluating practice area
performance, allocating resources, and
guiding strategic decisions.
