Before I came to this city I can´t couldn´t do many things in Spanish. For example, I
couldn´t follow a conversation if many people were talking at the same time. I
remember one occasion at a party. I wasn´t able to understand a word! I felt so
uncomfortable. Finally, my mom came to pick me up, and I could was able to leave the
meeting.
Today I can to understand much better. Since last month I can I´ve been able to practice
a lot. I am taking classes at the adult center. My teacher is very good. She can explains
explain things well, and she always gives us the chance to talk a lot in class. I can do a
lot now, and I think in a few more months I can will be able to do even more.

Antes de venir a esta ciudad no podía hacer muchas cosas en español. Por ejemplo, no
podría seguir una conversación si muchas personas estuvieran hablando al mismo
tiempo. Recuerdo una ocasión en una fiesta. ¡No pude entender ni una palabra! Me
sentí tan incómodo. Finalmente, mi mamá vino a recogerme y pude salir de la reunión.
Hoy puedo entender mucho mejor. Desde el mes pasado he podido practicar mucho.
Estoy tomando clases en el centro de adultos. Mi maestro es muy bueno. Sabe explicar
bien las cosas y siempre nos da la oportunidad de hablar mucho en clase. Puedo hacer
mucho ahora, y creo que en unos meses más podré hacer aún más
