2. As pigging is envisaged only during hydro-testing, commissioning and decommissioning stages by using
soft pigs and not during the normal operation. Provision for temporary pigging shall be considered.
3. The pipe length shall be estimated by VENDOR based on Conceptual layout and Underground Piping
layout drawings & Site survey.
4. Pressure class shall be selected considering the surge pressure of 19 barg.
5. Fire water network design pressure is 18 barg, However the maximum surge of 19 barg, shall be
considered for thickness calculation and select GRE pipe accordingly
