 Noisy Offering
At EPC we want to show our continued support for the Haugens’ mission work. We will
be taking up a “Noisy Offering” on the first Sunday of each month and donating it to
their mission fund. (We will also accept “silent offerings.”)

 What a wonderful celebration our church family provided for Ron Gilbert’s memorial service
last week! The reception was elegant!! Thank you to everyone who provided food, and to those who
set up the Fellowship Hall and organized and served. Our family was overwhelmed by the beautiful
reception you all prepared.
Thank you to everyone who has nurtured Ron and me with cards, calls, words of care and
encouragement, and prayers for the past three years. Your loving acts of kindness helped both of us
to remain positive and confident during trying times. It was wonderful to know that we were
surrounded by the loving people of Edgewood. I am so thankful to be part of the caring, loving
family that is our beloved Edgewood. Our church family has always been one of God's best gifts to

 We welcome Walter Cornwell as our new pianist!

Walter is from Americus, GA and is a graduate of Georgia College and State University in
Milledgeville in piano performance (2018). After graduation, he earned an Artist Diploma in Jazz
Piano from Columbus State University’s Schwob School of Music (2021). Since 2018, he has worked
at Piano Perfect, learning to tune and maintain pianos. Walter will begin a Masters in Piano
Performance at the Schwob School in August. Please take a moment to welcome Walter.
