HOMOEOPATHIC SELF RELIANCE FORUM


Now-a-days Medical Care has become quite costly and out of reach for common
man. Homoeopathy is an excellent medical system, which is safe, easy to adopt,
economical, holistic and cures diseases permanently without side effects. The
system is based on Nature’s Principles (prakrithi dharmas) founded by a genius, Dr.
Samuel Hahnemann, MD. Champion of self-reliance and Father of our Nation,
Mahatma Gandhi said “Homoeopathy is the latest and refined method of treating
patients economically and non-violently. Government must encourage and
patronise it in our country”.

With an aim to help the needy and suffering humanity and to bring an awareness
about health care among the general public Homoeopathic Self Reliance Forum, a
Voluntary Service Organisation was established at DRDO Township on 27th April 1987
by a group of likeminded people under the leadership of Sri P.V. Sathyanarayana, who
was already practicing homoeopathy for 10 years as a free service to the suffering
humanity.

The Forum has successfully rendered 34 years of dedicated service to the


suffering humanity. In these 34 years, Forum has not been closed even a single
working day and worked on all the scheduled working days. Many beneficiaries got
cured of their complicated, incurable, long-standing as well as short-term health
problems. Many mentally and physically under-developed children became normal
children after long-term treatment. Many heart patients, for whom by-pass surgery was
recommended got cured of their diseases. Many non-insulin depending diabetics
became non-diabetic. Many childless couples became proud parents of healthy and
intellectual children. Many young women who were not getting married because of
facial pimples and obesity got married after the treatment. Many persons got cured of
their inferiority complex or mental depression. Many students and youngsters were
helped to get cured of their fear of examinations and interviews.

The Forum has helped many scientists and technologists not only from DRDO,
but also from ISRO, NAL, IISc, HAL, BEML, BHEL, BEL, ITI and many Software
Companies, who are involved in Science & Technology areas to relieve their stress and

related health problems. Forum helped many families to manage in a better way
terminal cases or ailing old people in the house without much hospitalization and by
keeping few Homoeo medicines in the house. Before their death many old people and
persons of terminal diseases expressed their blessings and gratitude to the Forum for
relieving their pains/suffering and giving more comfort. We, the members of Forum get
lot of satisfaction and feel that we are doing something good to our society. The
beneficiaries are not only from DRDO Township, but also from in and around
Bangalore, far off places of Karnataka, other states of our country and also from foreign
countries.

On the day of Amravathi Foundation Function on 22 nd Oct. 2015, we started our branch
at New LIC Colony, Teja Township, Peda Palakaluru, Guntur – 522 002. Same
working hours like in Bangalore. Dr. Hanumaiah (98662 06018) who was trained in our
Forum in Bangalore for 5 years is successfully treating patients and achieving very
good results. People from many villages up to the range of 200 kms are availing the
service. We thank Teja Township management for providing accommodation and their
kind support.

We started one more branch at Veeravalli, native village of Sri P V Satyanarayana on


26th Aug. 2018. It is 40 kms from Vijayawada on the way to Hanuman Junction/Eluru. It
works for 3 days in a month, on 4th Sunday and next 2 days – Monday & Tuesday, from
4.30 AM to 6.00 PM. Patients who are suffering from long standing diseases are
coming from many villages from far off distances. On each day 80 to 100 patients are
getting treatment. We thank elders of Veeravalli village and Milk producers co-operative
Society Management for providing accommodation and their kind support.

Following the footsteps of our Guru Dr. GV Chalapathi garu, with an aim to
continue his noble program of bringing awareness among common people about the
importance of lifestyle to maintain good health and efficacy of Homoeopathy to cure
diseases, the Forum has organized number of free Homoeopathic awareness programs
of 2 or 3 days duration at various places. Each program has been attended by more

than 100 people. Under the leadership of Dr GV Chalapathi garu more than 150 such
Awareness Programs were conducted in AP, Goa and Karnataka.

So far, this Forum has organised more than 100 one day Free Homoeopathic
Seminars for the benefit of practicing Homoeopaths and homoeopathic students to
exchange and enhance their knowledge. More than 100 homoeopaths (even from other
states) used to attend. The Forum is providing excellent practical training freely to the
Fresh Homoeopathic physicians, who passed BHMS or MD. They have been taught
Classical Homoeopathic Method (higher level of Homoeopathy) practiced at the
Forum to cure the diseases. They are performing well in their practice after the training.
The Forum is regularly conducting One year Free Homoeopathic Course on
Classical Homoeopathy and providing practical training. Along with Sri P V
Satyanarayana, qualified and trained Homoeopathic physicians and well experienced
Homoeopaths are the Teaching Faculty for this course.

The Forum had created a sense of security among the general public, whenever
there was a panic due to outbreak of epidemic diseases viz., Brain Fever, Plague,
Chikungunya, Dengue, Swine flu, Chicken-pox, Measles, Gastroenteritis, Flu, COVID
etc., by distributing preventive medicines freely to lakhs of people across the country
through service minded organisations working locally. Forum has helped lakhs of
people to prevent epidemic diseases in the areas affected by floods, earthquake and
other natural calamities anywhere in our country.

Now the Forum identified and distributed ARSENIC ALB 30 about 2 Lakhs family
packets (each packet for 6 members) to the interested people till today, to improve
their immunity against COVID, in various parts of our country free of cost. Forum is
also trying to create an awareness and confidence among the people to fight against
the COVID.

EXPRESSION OF GRATITUDE
We express our sincere gratitude and humble pranams to our Guruji
Dr.G.V.Chalapathi garu, a legendary Homoeopath from Ananthapur (A.P.). who taught
us Homoeopathy and all important aspects of managing acute and chronic diseases
including complicated cases. He had the treasure of knowledge which he gained

through his 60 years of free service to the millions of people especially to whom
institutional medical care is out of reach.

Dr.GVC is a staunch champion for the cause of the Homoeopathic System and an
outstanding practitioner of this art and science of healing. He propagated human
service mission not only by medical treatment but also through publishing
Homoeopathic books in a simple language for a layman to understand Homoeopathy
and promoted self-reliance in health care by conducting more than 150 Homoeopathic
Awareness Camps at various places in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Goa. In
recognition of his yeoman service to the suffering humanity, Krishnadevaraya University
felicitated with Honorary Doctorate and Govt. of Andhra Pradesh honoured him with
“Prathibha Rajeev Prashasti Puraskar” on 19th November 2005.

We express our humble pranams to Sri Sirivaram Ranganatha Rao garu, who was
our guide, philosopher and mentor. He taught us Homoeopathy through his great
knowledge of Upanishads, Bhagavadgita, Mahabharatha, Bhagavatha, Ramayana and
his great humour. We also express our gratitude to all the members of HSRF,
Anantapur, who also contributed to enrich our knowledge.

We express our gratitude to DRDO Township Authorities, who have been kind
to provide excellent accommodation and environment to serve the needy and
suffering humanity. DRDO Township is serving the society through the Forum.

We are thankful to Sri Lanka Krishnamurthy garu and Sanathana Dharma


Samrakshana Samsthe who were responsible for introducing Dr.GV Chalapathi and
his team to us and other Homoeo lovers of Bangalore. The Forum expresses gratitude

Aerospace Laboratories, Vijaya Bank Head Office, KV DRDO and other

ABOUT THIS COURSE


Good Health is the birth right of every one of us. Now-a-days most of us are
suffering from various diseases. Though there is lot of advancement in medical field,
medical care has become quite costly, complicated and out of reach for common man.
This course is aimed at providing simple information for common people to understand
about few wonderful Homoeo Remedies and adopt them as Home Remedies. This
course guides the individuals who want to take care of day-to-day simple health
problems of their family members. If they start using these few Homoeo remedies,
70% of their medical visits can be eliminated. Over a period of time their health will be
much better as they tend to develop lot of positive energy and good resistance to
diseases.

The information in this course is collection from authentic Homoeo books coupled
with our own rich experience. Dr. T N Rajagopala Rao, an advocate and a renowned
Homoeopath trained Dr. G V Chalapathi garu in Homoeopathy and gifted him with the
knowledge of his 50 years of great experience. Our Guru Dr. G V Chalapathi garu in
turn gifted the essence of his 60 years of great experience in handling large number of
patients to his disciples at Ananthapuram and Sri P V Satyanarayana and other
members of HSRF in Bangalore.
Sri P V Satyanarayana has 44 years of rich experience in handling various types
of diseases/patients both acute and chronic. He shares his knowledge to all the
interested people through Homoeopathic awareness programs, seminars, long-term
courses, regular practical training in the dispensary and discussions. Many people
including young qualified Homoeopathic Doctors who did BHMS or MD are benefited
immensely.
Anybody can use these remedies with confidence. They have to observe the
symptoms and modalities properly and use as per the guidelines provided against each

OUR LIFESTYLE
The information is from the lectures and books of a great Naturopath Dr.
Manthena Satyanarayana Raju Garu from Vijayawada.
There are more than 84 lakhs of species (living beings) on the earth as per the
scientists. Out of them, only human being is trying to live against the nature’s principles.
Birds and animals in the forest inhale plenty of fresh air, drink plenty of water even if it is
dirty (not RO filtered water), and eat the food only when they feel hunger, they sleep for
10 -12 hours, they have good physical exercise and they pass urine and motion daily.
Universally goat eats only leaves, parrot eats only fruits, pigeon eats only seeds, and
tiger eats only flesh. Each creature has got fixed food pattern according to its bodily
needs. They do not eat any other food, even if they are hungry. Till their death they
earn their food, they do not depend on others. They live a healthy life for their entire
lifetime. Elephant lives for 100 years and tortoise lives for 400 years. They do not need
doctors, hospitals, heart specialist, lungs specialist, eye specialist, skin specialist etc.
They have got self-healing mechanism within themselves since they are living as per
the nature’s principles till their death.
Can any one of us tell, what is our food? We eat anything and everything. We
destroy the good qualities of the food, by processing/cooking/frying/seasoning and eat
in most unnatural way at unnatural timings, even when we do not feel hunger.
Our ancestors used to respect the trees, forests, rivers, hills, birds & animals, air,
water, earth, fire, space etc. They tried their best to live in harmony with the nature.
They were not suffering from modern day lifestyle diseases. They were fairly in good
state of health. They were not very dependent on medicines.
After the advancement of science and technology, we are trying our best to
destroy/pollute the nature and to live much against the nature’s principles. We are
paying heavy price for doing so. We all are suffering from various types of diseases. We
are giving birth to unhealthy children. Our life is becoming more and more miserable

with the invasion of hi-tech hospitals, diagnostic centers and highly toxic medicines.
We eat medicines like food. How do we come out of this situation? How can we give
birth to healthy children? How can we give good health to our younger generations?
How can we be self-reliant in our health care? We will have to find out what are the
methods and medical systems available which are less expensive, more effective,
without side effects and work as per the nature’s principles to cure our genetic and
lifestyle diseases.
It is the time for us to realize and find out what are the blunders we are committing.
We have to understand how our body functions and what are the important needs of
our body to function its full span of life in a state of good health? Right from the
inception of the Forum, we have been strongly advising our beneficiaries about the
need for the change of lifestyle to get cured of disease and to become healthy.

HOW TO LIVE WITH PERFECT HEALTH ?


 Our mind and body are functioning because of the flow of energy which is called
Positive energy or vital energy or vital force. There is another type of energy
that exists in our body, which is opposite to the positive energy and it is called
Negative energy.
 If the positive energy is more, we will be in a state of good health. Our body will
have lot of resistance to diseases.
 If the negative energy is more, then there will be setback in health and our body
becomes a congenial ground for all sorts of diseases from common cold to cancer.
 Pollution in the mind and body are responsible for the development of negative
energy and thereby disease. There are two types of pollution viz., (a) Pollution
in mind due to bad feelings, bad thoughts and bad emotions, (b) Pollution in
the body due to bad inputs.
 If we minimize the pollution by properly balancing 7 important needs of our
body, we can live full span of our life without major health problems.
 Perfect Health is a state where our mind & body does not have any disease/illness
at present but also remains so in future.
 Doctors & Hospitals cannot give health. They can only give treatment to cure the
diseases.

 Our health is in our hands. The following are the 7 important needs of our body
to be fulfilled to maintain perfect health:
1. GOOD AIR
 First and the most important need of our body is Air.
 Air is essential for efficient functioning of our body cells to burn the fuel of our
body (food) to produce energy (metabolic activities) required by our body.
 Air is necessary to clean and bring out polluted gases from all the cells and
organs of our body.
 Through normal breathing, we are able to supply only 40% to 50% of air that is
required by our body. Shortage of air leads to various diseases.
 We must do deep breathing exercise or Pranayama in the early morning, in fresh
air every day. It will increase our positive energy and we can be healthy.

2. GOOD WATER
 Second-most important need of our body is Water.
 Our body contains 68% water and 32% solid matter. To maintain proper balance,
we must drink 70% water and eat 30% food.
 Water is necessary for efficient functioning of all the cells and organs of our
body. In an adult, 2.5 liters of water is used daily to perform healthy biological /
metabolic activity.
 We use plenty of water to clean our body, clothes, utensils, house, vehicles etc.
Unfortunately, we do not use adequate water for cleaning our internal organs,
especially digestive system.
 For internal cleaning of all the cells and organs, an average adult needs 1 to 1.5
liters of water daily to send out the waste material/toxins from the body.
 If we do not supply the required amount of water, body gets habituated to adjust
itself to manage by absorbing water from the stool, urine, sweat, mucous, internal
fluids, skin etc.
 Thereby when waste material cannot be eliminated from our body, internal body
becomes dirty, stool becomes hard & constipated, urine becomes thick and dark
colour, lot of bad smell is emitted from sweat, urine, stool, mouth, nose, ears,
penis/vagina and complete body.

 Body becomes congenial ground for all sorts of infections, leading to acute and
chronic diseases.
 Internal cleaning is more important than external cleaning.
 Water gives lot of positive energy. So, drink plenty of Water.
 50% of the health problems can be solved by simply drinking recommended
amount of water in a systematic manner.
 We found excellent results in the patients who were sincerely drinking water as
advised.
 Whoever drinks less water are likely to get all types of allergies and major health
problems as their internal system gets polluted.
 In our experience, we noticed that most of the cancer patients used to drink 3 to
4 glass of water per day and had chronic constipation before they were affected
with cancer.

3. GOOD FOOD
 When we buy a new car, we prefer to use best fuel, which gives more mileage,
good performance and less pollution. Similarly, we must eat such food which gives
more nutrition, more energy, less pollution and less strain to the body to
digest.
 The best items recommended in our diet so that we get all the nutrition and good
health are - whole grains, millets, nuts, sprouts, fruits and vegetables in their
most natural form. It gives lot of positive energy. We must eat at least 50% raw
food every day. Remaining 50% food should be cooked and not deep-fried.
 Daily drink plenty of fresh juices of fruits/vegetables, tender coconut water,
lemon juice with honey & warm water instead of coffee/tea.
 Always use unpolished food items like rice, pulses, dals (lentils), ravva (sooji)
and flour. All important nutrients and fiber are lost while polishing. Avoid use of
polished and processed food materials, as they spoil health.
 Various types of Millets like Navane (Foxtail), Saame (Little), Oodhalu
(Barnyard), Haarka (Kodo), Baragu (Proso), Sajje (Pearl), Jola (Sorghum),
Ragi (Finger), Mokka Jola (Maize) etc. are very good healthy alternatives to
rice and wheat. Millets contain high amount of fiber and plenty of nutrients. It

keeps our body and mind resistant to diseases. These are non-water based crops
and popularly known as Chiru Dhanya and used by our ancestors for ages.
 Unpolished rice contains good fiber and plenty of B-Complex. It prevents many
diseases.
 Always eat fresh oil-free chapathis made from mixed whole grains flour of wheat,
millets, barley, horse gram, green gram etc. Do not sieve and remove fiber. Fiber
helps us a lot to improve health. Wheat contains gluten (maida), which is not good
for health.

 Spices are great medicines given by mother nature to be used when there is some
problem/disease in our body. So let us use spices as medicines and not as daily
food.
 Eat simple dinner before 7 pm or 3 hours before you go to sleep. Eating food at
late night causes various diseases and in spite of best medical treatment,
recovering from the diseases will be slow.
 As a rule, eat only when you are hungry and eat as less number of times as
possible. Fill the stomach up to 75% only, keep 25% empty. If you give rest to
the stomach, it will keep you healthy. Allow the consumed food to get digested
and absorbed by the body. So, maintain long gap between each intake of food.
 The frequency of eating in a day is thrice for adults and 4 times for children. Most
of the mothers are over-feeding the children and spoiling their health. They do
not give time for the digestion of previously given food and force the children to
consume the next items one after another. Thereby children never feel hungry.
Food consumed without hunger gets spoiled, produces gas, acids and toxins
(poison) and hence leads to diseases.
 It is essential to grind the food well in the mouth and make it like paste. When
food is chewed well, plenty of saliva is produced in the mouth. Saliva contains
digestive enzymes and 30% of the digestion takes place in the mouth itself.
 Eat warm/room temperature food and not too hot or too cold.
 We succumb to our desire for taste and momentary enjoyment by eating all sorts of
junk food, processed food and deep fried oily food. This leads to many diseases,

4. GOOD EXERCISE
 Daily physical exercise is a must to promote good blood circulation and to
eliminate waste materials from the body. Exercise keeps free movement all the
body parts.
 Though you can do any kind of exercise, Yogasanas & Surya Namaskaras are
more beneficial and give more positive energy than any other exercise. Learn and
practice these daily on empty stomach.

5. GOOD EXCRETION
 Ensure to flush out the waste materials of the body in the form of sweat, urine
and stool and keep the internal body clean.
 Pass daily 2 or 3 stools and plenty of urine (colorless & odourless). Diseases
cannot enter if our internal body is clean.
 It will be good to do enema at least once a month. It is a good method to clean
stagnant and dried stool from the colon.
 Drinking good amount of water, eating sprouts, fruits, vegetables, food rich in fiber
and physical exercise will help proper excretion. Internal cleaning is most
important.

6. GOOD REST
 It is very important to have 7 to 8 hours of relaxing and refreshing good sleep daily.
It gives lot of positive energy. Children need 8 to 10 hours of sleep.

activity will not be taken up until the food is digested. So, our dinner should be
digested before we go to sleep.

 Do full-day fasting once in 15 days and give complete rest to the body. Fasting
helps in cleaning, repair and maintenance of our body. It will enhance positive
energy.
 During any sickness, stop eating food and give rest to the stomach. Fasting
helps in quick recovery. Lankanam paramaoushadham (fasting is a great
medicine).
 During fasting, take tender coconut water or lemon juice mixed with 4 to 6 tea
spoons of honey and warm water every 3 hours. This juice gives instant energy
to the body and cleans the body like a detergent. Drink plenty of water every one
hour. Then there will be no weakness and tiredness while fasting.
 When the children are sick, do not force them to eat food. Food cannot be
digested and becomes toxic. Give either tender coconut water or warm water with
lemon & honey or sweet orange juice with honey, it will help for faster recovery of
the child.

7. GOOD THOUGHTS
 According to Hindu Philosophy, there are six types of enemies called

HOW MUCH WATER AND WHEN TO DRINK?


Whether we feel thirsty or not, to maintain good health, daily we must drink water
as per the quantity indicated (below) according to age:
Child below 1 year - 300 ml to 500 ml
Child between 1 and 5 years - 1 litre to 1.5 litres
Child between 5 and 10 years - 2 litres to 3 litres
Child between 10 and 15 years - 3 litres to 4 litres
Youngster between 15 & 20 years - 4 litres to 5 litres
Adults between 20 & 60 years - 4 litres to 6 litres
Aged people above 60 years - 3 litres to 4 litres
(Note: Heart & kidney patients must follow their doctor’s advice)

 Divide the daily quota of recommended intake of water into 3 equal parts. Drink
first part as soon as you get up from sleep in the morning. You can drink it all at
once or in 2 or 3 installments with 15 minutes gap and walk around by focusing on
the abdomen. Do not divert the mind to phone, TV, newspaper, talking to others or
attending some work. Because of water pressure, body movement and mind
concentration, there will be very good bowel movement.
 Drink second part of water in 3 or 4 installments starting from two hours after
breakfast and finish it half an hour before lunch.
 Drink third part of water in 3 or 4 installments starting from 2 hours after lunch and
finish it before 6 pm.
 Just like we clean the vessel with water before cooking food and the plate before
eating food, we must drink plenty of water 30 minutes before eating food. This
will help to clean the entire digestive system and produce healthy digestive juices at
the time of eating.

 If you chew the food thoroughly in the mouth while eating, plenty of saliva gets
secreted in the mouth and gets mixed with the food. Saliva contains digestive
enzymes and 30% of the digestion takes place in the mouth. Saliva acts as good
lubricant for free movement of food in digestive tract. So, no need to drink water
while eating food. If required, take 2 or 3 sips of water while eating food.
 Do not drink water while eating food and for 2 hours after eating food. If you
drink during this time, the gastric juice (mainly hydrochloric acid) will get diluted,
becomes weak and digestion will be slow. Food and weak acid together stay for
more duration in the stomach because of which food gets fermented, becomes
acidic and causes burning in the entire food tract. There will be lot of gas formation,
bloating of stomach and belching. That is why many people suffer from acidity and
gastric problems, joints pain, wheezing problem etc.
 Drink water every one hour starting from 2 hours after eating food. This helps
to keep the digestive system clean and to convert digested food into energy
(Metabolic activity).
 Do not drink much water from 6 pm to 4 am to avoid getting up at night for urination.
Drink more water after 4 am.
 Always drink room temperature or lukewarm water only. People suffering from
Sinus, Asthma and other respiratory problems (Kapha Swabhava) must always
drink lukewarm water. Do not drink hot or cold/fridge/ice water.
 We use one liter of water to clean our mouth in the morning and 1 to 2 liters of
water to clean our buttocks after passing the stool, similarly we should drink 1 to
1.5 liters of water to clean dirt/toxins in our internal passage from throat to
anus.

PREPARATION AND BENEFITS OF WHEAT GRASS

And VEGETABLE JUICES


 Take organic wheat grass that has grown for 7-8 days. Wash it with water, cut into
small pieces and put into a mixer/grinder.

 To make vegetable juice, take carrot, beetroot, knolkhol, radish, cucumber,
tomatoes, bottle gourd, ridge gourd, snake gourd, ash gourd (white pumpkin),
goose berry, cabbage, curry leaves, mint leaves and coriander leaves, whichever is
available in the house, all in small quantities. Wash well with water, cut into pieces,
put into the mixer/grinder.
 Add little water and grind it. Filter the juice by using a clean cotton cloth or strainer
and squeeze it. Add lemon juice and honey (quantity as per your taste, diabetics
may add
1 or 2 tea spoons only), drink sip by sip and relish.
 This juice contains vitamins, minerals, micro nutrients anti-oxidants and
enzymes in the proportion required by our body, which will be lost when heated
above 50 deg. Centigrade. Always make fresh juice and drink.
 If you are a obese/overweight person, drink about 300 ml to 400 ml of wheat
grass juice or vegetable juice in the morning and follow the suggested daily routine,
you will lose 3 to 5 kgs of weight per month and will feel energetic.
 If you are diabetic, kindly drink about 300 ml to 400 ml of wheat grass juice or
vegetable juice. Do not use carrot and beet root. Stop using salt, sugar, maida &
polished rice. Eat 60% raw food and 40% cooked food.

10 – 30 gms of salt in our daily food. Our body needs only one gram of salt per day
which we can get easily from vegetables, fruits and other food materials naturally.
There is no need to consume additional salt.

 Soak overnight in sufficient amount of water - wet or dry dates, dry grapes (raisins),
figs (anjura), groundnuts, cashew nuts, pista, walnut and water melon seeds. Soak
almonds (badam) separately, remove the peel before eating and mix with other nuts
and dry fruits. It will be good to add half tea spoon white gingelly seeds powder
before eating. Gingelly seeds are good source of natural calcium. You can also add
freshly grated coconut which is excellent for memory.

MILK - “Wholesome food” for children
 Milk is a wholesome food for a child who cannot eat solid food. It contains mainly
sugar, carbohydrates, proteins, fat, calcium, minerals and vitamins needed for the
growth of the child.
 Human body can produce milk digestive enzyme “Lactase” up to the age 3
years. After 3 years of age it is a burden for the digestive system to digest milk as
the milk digestive enzyme “Lactase” is absent.
 It takes about 3 hours to fully digest milk in the stomach. When milk is getting
digested, if some other food is consumed, milk gets spoiled.
 Now-a-days, most of the mothers because of their ignorance are not giving
sufficient gap. Mothers are very eager to forcibly feed milk and other food items
to the children at the same time before they leave for school in the morning.
 Stomach and intestines should be cleaned thoroughly by drinking more water
(preferably lukewarm) half an hour before drinking milk. Otherwise milk gets spoiled
due to undigested food, acids and other toxins present in the stomach & intestines.
 If the milk not digested properly, it forms phlegm and toxins. As a result there will
be indigestion, loss of appetite, frequent attacks of cold, cough, chest congestion,

 For children above 3 years of age and adults, sprouts are excellent wholesome
food. About 30 gms. of green gram sprouts has much more nutrition value than 100
ml. of milk. So, instead of drinking milk it is better to consume sprouts and soaked
nuts which are far more superior in all respects than milk.
 There is a general feeling among people that if we do not drink milk we will have
calcium deficiency and there will be bone-related problems.
 Highest amount of calcium is available in gingelly (thil or sesame) seeds. Regular
use of gingelly seeds (white/black) in our food helps us to get required amount of
calcium and also good for the functioning of our brain.
 We can get required amount of calcium when we consume gingelly seeds, leafy
vegetables, radish, ragi flour (finger millet) etc. in our daily food. We need not drink
milk for the sake of calcium, proteins and fat.
 Now-a-days it is a fashion to give milk with fruit juices (apple shake, mango shake
etc.). It creates digestive disorders and is unhealthy.

 Consume curd only in the day time and do not consume after 6 pm. Buttermilk can
be consumed at any time.

NON-VEGETARIAN
“Prone to get infections, heart diseases and Cancer”

 Many Scientific studies reveal that human anatomy is designed for the consumption
of vegetarian food.
 When we sense the smell of ripened fruits like mangoes, guava, jackfruit, oranges,
custard apple etc., we get tempted to eat, saliva secretes in our mouth and we
spontaneously pick the fruit to take a bite and enjoy its taste.
 When cat senses a rat, it chases, catches, kills and enjoys eating raw flesh of rat.
When any carnivorous animal is hungry, it senses the smell of its favourite food
(flesh of other birds/animals), chases and kills them. At the smell of the raw flesh
saliva oozes in their mouth and they enjoy eating.
 On the other hand human beings cannot kill the animals with their bare hands. They
dislike the smell of raw meat, fish, broken eggs and they cannot eat and digest
them. This is a clear indication that we are not non-vegetarians.
 Birds and animals experience severe pain and lot of mental agony when they are
being killed. As a result, lot of harmful hormones like Adrenalin and lot of
negative energy is released into all the organs of their body before they die.
 As a result whoever consumes the meat becomes irritable, angry, gets negative
thoughts/feelings, becomes destructive and more susceptible to getting various
diseases including cancer.
 In the world, per capita non-vegetarian consumption is more in America. Many
people in America suffer from psychological disorders, heart diseases, digestive
disorders, skin diseases, cancer etc.
 Each egg’s outer layer contains about 30,000 minute pores. Dangerous bacteria
like Salmonella, Staphylococci enter the eggs and it needs to be stored below 8
degrees Celsius. Otherwise it is harmful to eat.
 To increase productivity in poultry farming, different types of harmful anti-organic
medicines and hormones are used.

 Some parents daily/more frequently feed boiled eggs to their kids. Since kids’
digestive system is very delicate, it gets disturbed very badly and cannot digest
the eggs properly. As a result kids develop indigestion, constipation, get
frequent attacks of cold, cough, chest congestion, fever, bronchitis, asthma,
skin diseases etc. If they stop eating eggs, the problems will come down gradually.
 Consumption of eggs & meat increases bad (LDL) cholesterol which leads to
heart attacks.
 Is it humane to kill someone to fill our stomach ?
(Important News: Noble Prize winner Elizabeth Blackburn found that Vegan diet
caused more than 500 genes to change in just 3 months. It turned on genes that
prevent disease and turned off genes that cause Heart diseases, Cancer and other

Scientists find blood from Vegans to be 8 times more protective against Cancer than
blood from people who take standard American diet. Vegan diet contains food items
made from plants and does not include any animal products including milk and eggs.

SUGGESTIONS FOR HEALTHY ROUTINE


To get cured of existing diseases, to maintain healthy weight, , to prevent
diseases caused by incorrect lifestyle and heredity

 Get up at 5 am, wash your mouth and drink 1 to 1.5 litres of lukewarm or room
temperature water in 2 or 3 installments with a gap of 15 minutes. Walk around
concentrating on your belly. When pressure builds up, go to toilet. Stool will be
flushed out with lot of force and intestines will be cleaned well.
 After passing stool, do meditation, pranayama & yogasanas or any other
exercise.
 Take mixed vegetable juice or wheat grass juice with lemon juice and honey.
You can also take lemon juice with honey and warm water. Sip it slowly like tea.
 After 1½ to 2 hours gap, take good breakfast of sprouts mixed with grated fresh
coconut, carrot, fine pieces of green chillies and lemon juice. You can also eat
sprouts mixed with nuts soaked overnight in water, dates and fresh fruits.

 In the afternoon, have good lunch of cooked food made of millets or unpolished rice
or oil-free chapathis or ragi mudde along with vegetables, leafy vegetables,
pulses/dal, curd/buttermilk etc. As far as possible avoid salt, oil, sugar and maida.
 Alternatively, you could take the main meal of the day (food that you would
eat for lunch) between 8 am and 10 am. In the afternoon, eat sprouts, soaked dry
fruits, nuts and fresh fruits.
 Do not eat snacks in the evening, instead eat seasonal fruits or drink fruit juice
made afresh. It improves digestion and resistance to diseases.
 Make it a habit to pass stools in the evening also to keep the body clean.
 Always take dinner by 7 pm (at least 3 hours before you sleep), eat cooked
food with vegetable curry or vegetable salad . Do not take protein food items like
dal, seeds, leafy vegetables, non-vegetarian, oil-fried food and heavy dinner. Do
not have late dinner.
 It is excellent to eat fresh fruits as dinner.
 Go to bed by 10 pm after meditation and pranayama and sleep well for 7 hours.
 Drink half a litre water, half an hour before food. Two hours after food, drink 250
ml of water for every 2 hours. Do not drink much water between 6 pm and 4 am
to avoid frequent urination at night.
 Do not drink water while eating food and for 2 hours after food. If required,
drink 2 or 3 sips while eating food. If you chew the food well, there is no need for
water.
 Whenever you feel like drinking coffee/tea, take lukewarm water with lemon juice
and 4 to 5 tea spoons of honey or tender coconut water or fresh fruit juice. Unlike
coffee/tea, this is an excellent drink that gives energy and cleanses the body.
 Always eat as less number of times as possible and give rest to the stomach.
 It will be excellent for the students and others to study during Brahmi Muhurtha (4 –
6 am), when the mind is fresh after good refreshing sleep. The concentration and
grasping will be excellent.

HEALTHY CHILDREN – An asset to the nation
1. To give birth to a healthy and intellectual child, parents should follow good food
habits and healthy lifestyle from at least 6 months before conception. They should
be free from emotional disturbances. That means their mind and body should be
free from pollution.
2. After the woman becomes pregnant, during entire period of pregnancy and lactation
she should continue her healthy food habits and lifestyle. Her mind should be
pleasant and happy.
3. After the child birth, up to sixth month, the child should be fed only mother’s milk. If
sufficient milk is not available, she should approach a Homoeopath. There are good
medicines to improve quality and quantity of milk.
4. If mother’s milk is not available, give cow/buffalo/dairy milk supplied in sachets by
diluting with 20% to 40% of water depending upon the fat content of the milk. If
child’s digestion is very good, then add one or two tea spoons of powder prepared
from dried sprouts, dates and nuts while boiling the milk. The milk becomes very
nutritious. Do not use sugar/jaggery as dry fruits give sweetness. Do not give
tinned food as it contains preservatives, which affects the liver and digestive
system. If you cannot afford dates and nuts then add jaggery (preferably one year
old).
5. From sixth month onwards, introduce solid food and gradually increase the quantity.
To prepare nutritious food, take good quality of various types of millets (200
gms), unpolished rice (100 gms), green gram (100 gms), barley (50 gms), horse gram
(50gms) and gingelly seeds (50 grams). After cleaning & drying them well in bright
sunlight, grind into coarse ravva (sooji). You can preserve it in an airtight glass
bottle and use for 15 days.
6. When water is boiling, put pieces of any of the tender vegetables like carrot, radish,
beans, bottle gourd, snake gourd, ridge gourd, tomato, cabbage, leafy vegetables.
Allow it to boil for little time and pour required amount of ravva slowly and stir well.
After completion of cooking put curry leaves, coriander leaves and mint leaves into
it, mix well and cover it for some time to allow the leaves to get cooked with the
available heat.
7. Do not add salt, sugar, oil, chillies, spices etc. Before feeding, with the help of

spoon crush well to make it soft, remove leaves or any solid pieces which are likely
to get stuck in throat. Mix half tea spoon of good quality ghee before feeding to the
child. Start with little quantity and increase slowly. This food can be continued until
the age when child can chew the food. This is an excellent nutritious food for children.
Give this food daily in the morning between 9 to10 am and in the evening between
5 to 6 pm.
8. Feed lukewarm or room temperature water to the child to clean the stomach as
soon as child gets up from sleep and half an hour before feeding the milk/food. Two
hours after feeding milk/food, feed water to the child. Feed water in frequent
intervals till evening.
9. Do not give milk/food till previously given milk/food is digested well. Child should
feel hungry and cry for food. Feeding milk or food without hunger and overloading

10. Daily at around 3 pm give ripe fruits like banana, papaya, orange, mango, sapota

sleep. If child gets up from sleep and cries with hunger, feed milk.
12. After one year age slowly discontinue mother’s milk and give packet milk. Slowly

13. Milk can be continued till the age of 3 to 4 years. After that, instead of milk, give

a) Sprouts, all sorts of nuts including fresh coconut, pulses.
b) Dry fruits and fresh seasonal fruits,
c) Fresh raw vegetables.
d) Cooked-form of various types of millets, unpolished rice, unpolished dal, all
unpolished food materials, all sorts of vegetables etc. Curd can be used
during the day and fresh buttermilk can be used any time.
16. Do not make it a habit to give food items with salt, sugar, oil, maida, bakery food,
and all sorts of junk food to prevent sickness to the child.
17. They need to drink plenty of water as per their age.
18. Children need good physical exercise daily. So they should participate in sports,
games, yoga etc.
19. They have to pass daily 2 or 3 stools and plenty of urine 2 to 3 hourly.
20. They need 8 to 10 hours of good refreshing sleep.
21. Teach children to chew the food well for proper digestion.
22. Teach to take bath daily from head to toe. Do not use soap. Prepare bath powder
with cleaned and well-dried green gram, bengal gram, unpolished rice/wheat, soap
nut/sikakai/traditional herbs. Whenever possible apply pulp of any fruit or fruit peel
(banana, mango, oranges, tomato, lemon etc.) on whole body and take bath after
15 minutes. Give gingelly oil bath on every Sunday.

food, packaged food, maidha preparations, biscuits, bakery food, cakes, chips,
chocolates, noodles, pizzas, burgers, eggs, non-vegetarian food, coffee/tea, pickles,
jam, sauce, ketchup and any food items prepared using preservatives,
taste/colour/flavour enhancing chemicals, salt, sugar, oil, maidha etc. - All these stuff

These gadgets help us a lot. But, at the same time we are suffering from social,
psychological and health problems from the indiscriminate use of these gadgets.

Fridge: Fruits, vegetables and other food items stored in fridge lose their nutrition value
day by day. If available, nearby it is better to buy fruits, vegetables and milk daily. By
storing in the fridge you are wasting lot of electricity.

It is better to consume or dispose of the cooked food on same day. If stored in the
fridge, reheated and consumed, not only it loses nutrition value, but also it creates
various diseases.

Many times children and few adults consume water and food items kept in the
