SAP MM and Ariba Functional Consultant with around 2 years of Experience currently working for

SAP Ariba Exposure:

 Ariba procurement Buying (Procure-to-Pay): Catalogs, Requisitions, Approval, Managing Purchase

Orders, Receipts, Invoice reconciliations.

 Knowledge of SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing, creating Auctions, Events, Supplier Bidding process.

 Knowledge of Creation, Modification and closure of Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders in
SAP/Ariba

 Understanding of routing and approval process of approvable documents like invoices and
requisitions by defined approval rules.

 Knowledge of Proxy or delegation setup for approvers.

 Ariba Core Administration role: Providing appropriate roles and accesses to SAP Ariba end users.

 Knowledge of Ariba On-demand Procurement Solutions: SAP Ariba Buying, SAP Ariba Catalog.

 Knowledge of master data and transactional data integration of Ariba with SAP ECC.

SAP MM/WM Exposure:

 Knowledge Procure-to-pay cycle functionality in both SAP ECC and Ariba P2P.
 Good understanding of Special Procurement processes in MM like Consignment, Intra-company
and inter-company STO.

 Understanding of IDoc and ALE for business transaction data flow between SAP and other
systems.

 Knowledge on Output determination setup for purchasing documents.

 Release Procedures for Purchase order.
 Master Data: Creating of Material Master, Purchasing Info record, Source Lists, Creating Vendor
Master Records, Defining Terms of Payment.

 Knowledge on utilizing CHARM (Transport) tool and procurement process/SAP ECC.

Project Title : Support project

Roles and Responsibilities:

 Investigate PO roundtrip issues and push orders to ordered status if they are stuck.

 Post data clean-up activities like testing P2P cycle in both SAP and Ariba.

 Troubleshoot integration issues between Ariba P2P and ERP systems (SAP).

 Good Experience working with Ariba Ordering methods, Output condition records.

 Good Experience with resolving Ariba Integration issues involving Supplier, Invoices over ASN
and PO roundtrip issue.

 Well versed with solving requisition/purchase order/receipt/invoice exception related issues in

the flow between Ariba P2P, Ariba Buyer Network and Ariba supplier network systems.

 Providing different roles to Procurement users as a core administrator.

 Work as Ariba DSC (Designated Support Contact) for Ariba end users.

 Work on delegation requests to maintain proxy for users having approvable role assignment.

 Work with Ariba support – raising Service Requests for troubleshooting issues and
Enhancement requests for new enhancements.

 Responsible for handling the problems faced by users in performing Procure-to-Pay cycle in SAP
ECC.

 Creation of purchasing groups for SAP buyers and assigning signers to purchasing groups.

 Handle the workflow related issues with purchase order approvals.

 Involved in detailed problem identification, diagnosis, impact analysis and viable resolutions
of the issues raised by the client during procurement operations.

 Good Experience with SAP CPS via Redwood software over Netweaver by moving SAP jobs
to CPS and monitoring those.

 Provide solutions for inventory related issues faced by users during goods receipt and invoice
posting.

 Generating Buyer vendor consignment usage report for newly boarded suppliers and monitoring
and solving issues related to those reports.

  Solving issues related to inventory management using RF Gun Applications functioning in
coordination with SAP ECC through RFC.

 Gathering requirements from user for enhancement, working closely with technical teams for
solutioning to user requirements, end-to-end testing to for quality assurance of the deliverable.

 Create Purchase Orders, Goods receipt, Invoice receipts to test the existing and enhanced
functionality.

 Worked with Fiori team in enhancement and testing of various apps like POINQ, MyProxy etc. for
leveraging user friendly apps and make those available to users.

Project Title : Rollout project (New Plant and Warehouse Setup)

Roll out project for a new plant setup under an existing company code.

Roles and Responsibilities:

 Definition of Organizational Units and their assignment (Plant, St orage Locations, Purchasing
organization).

 Maintaining storage locations along with proper addresses for new plant.

 Creation and assignment of new warehouse to storage location(s) and plant.

 Defining control parameters for warehouse and assignment of number ranges.

 Defining new shipping points and assigning them to plant.

 Defining storage type, storage indicators, storage bin types, storage bin structures, storage type
indicators.

 Timely Communication with Business and Stakeholders on the progress as changes move over to
production.
