• NATURAL GAS-

Natural gas is a naturally occurring hydrocarbon gas mixture consisting

primarily of methane.

• Fossil fuels –

A fossil fuel is a fuel formed by natural processes, such as anaerobic

decomposition of buried dead organisms.

Coal, crude oil, and natural gas are all considered fossil fuels because they
were formed from the fossilized, buried remains of plants and animals
that lived millions of years ago. Because of their origins, fossil fuels have
high carbon content.
