B. Marking Scheme for All Two Parts:
(i) Section-1 (01-20) – Contains Twenty (20) multiple choice objective questions which have four (4) options
each and only one correct option. Each question will be awarded + 4 Marks for correct answer and -1
mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
(ii) Section-2 (01-02) contains Two (02) Numerical based questions with single digit integer as answer,
ranging from 0 to 9 (both inclusive). Each question will be awarded + 4 Marks for correct answer and NO
MARKS will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

(iiI) Section-3 (01-03) contains Three (03) Numerical value in a decimal notation, truncate/rounding off to the
second decimal place e.g. Each question will be awarded + 4 Marks for correct answer and NO MARKS
will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

1. A capacitor stores 50 µC charge when connected across a battery. When the gap between
the plates is filled with a dielectric, a charge of 100 µC flows through the battery. Find the

2. Two spherical conductors B and C having equal radii and carrying equal charges in them repel each
other with a force F when kept apart at some distance. A third spherical conductor having same radius
