Assessment Task 1 Instructions
Accountants Support is a small business that Anna Armstrong began ten years ago. It specialises in
providing accounting document templates for small and medium businesses. These include invoices, order
forms, and accounting spreadsheets.
Anna works with three to six colleagues, working as consultants, on most projects. Each contributes the
required resources and then edits or proofreads each other’s documents.
Currently, Accountants Support has created resources for more than 150 businesses, and the list is
growing. Anna keeps a copy of each resource on her computer’s hard drive, carefully filed so they are easy
to access. Anna distributes these to her colleagues when they need to be written or reviewed as email
attachments, and they pass them to each other in the same way when they need assistance.
Anna has found this shuffling of resources to be time consuming and inefficient. She feels that they are
safe on her hard drive, and she backs them up regularly. But with over 2,000 documents, it is getting
unwieldly, and colleagues have suggested to Anna that she look for a solution to her administration
problems.
You have recently been hired as Accountants Support’s Administration Manager, a position that did not
exist previously. One of your first jobs will be to determine whether there is a solution to the company’s
resources issues.
During the meeting, you are required to demonstrate effective communication skills including:
Speaking clearly and concisely
Using non-verbal communication to assist with understanding
Asking questions to identify required information
Responding to questions as required
Using active listening techniques to confirm understanding
Currently, Accountants Support has created resources for more than 150 businesses, and the list is
growing. But the current administration system is not so good.
Simple hard drive, folder, hard copy
Trying to find the easy way, purchase the cloud storage
Have 6 consultants, work from home, using their own computers and internet,
All consultants are mac users
Identify what the budget will be for the change over to the new system
In meeting need to change for new system was discussed. Anna has approved budget of $7000 for this
change. The budget may be used-
Anna has found the shuffling of resources to be time consuming and inefficient, therefore, the future
administration needs of the company are to have efficient and fast administration system for the transfer of
resources in better way.
Discuss implementation strategies with the other meeting attendees. It will be important that all users of
any new system are introduced to it in the most effective way, so discuss with them what the most
effective way to do this would be.
To adopt with the new administrative procedure efficiently there will be a need to provide training to
each user. The group and individual instruction is must to make them understand. Collecting regular
feedback from Anna and other users and making necessary changes in software could also helpful.
Conduct regular workshops for staff training for usage of new software
Lectures by expert professionals on new software

Currently, Accountants Support has created resources for more than 150 businesses, and the list is growing. But
the current administration system is not so good.
For the changeover to the new administration system, we need the extra budget of $10000.
Anna has found the shuffling of resources to be time consuming and inefficient, therefore, the future administration
needs of the company are to have efficient and fast administration system for the transfer of resources in better
way.
Use a standard system to assess how your business is doing. Measure your small business KPIs with the same
methods each time. Look for patterns in your data. Use the patterns to make smart decisions for your business
operations.
Employees are the eyes and ears of your business operations. If there are weak spots in your system, its likely
employees know about them. It’s also likely they want a better process for completing tasks. But when your staff
thinks you’re a “my way or the highway” leader, they usually aren’t motivated to come up with solutions.
It’s hard not to get caught up in the daily hustle of running a business. But if you forget to stop and look at your
business operations, you’ll never know if they’re effective. Take a step back to review your business plan and
processes. Schedule time as a part of your workweek to follow through on your evaluation.

Meeting time and date- 10:00 A.M, February 28, 2021
Meeting venue- Conference hall
Attendees- Anna Armstrong, Aditya Sagwal, Staff members
Introduction
Accountants Support (AS) needs to update/upgrade their administrative procedures specially to update the storage
filing access system for their documents. The way the system is at present it is not efficient and time wasting and
frustrating for everyone. Anna the boss wants to change to a better more efficient system and has asked to produce
a report to look into this.
This is first report about the Administration needs of the business. This report will provide the basis to look at best
solution to Accountants Support issues.
Identify what the budget will be for the change over to the new system;
The budget will be used for upgrading computer memory (RAM) up to minimum 4GB in every computer,
installing cloud storage, installing latest processors, introducing new accounting software and training
program for the staff.
A budget of $9000 has been approved by Anna Armstrong.
The company needs to have cloud storage rather than using the hard drive storage. The cloud data could be
accessed by the company’s employees from anytime and anywhere which helps in time-saving for data
transfer. Email data transfer could be corrupted or hacked by the third party. So, the company needs to use
cloud storage for its administrative work for the security and convenience.
The company needs to hire expert professionals
Employ new executive and personal assistants
Using cloud storage with more storage capacity and providing adequate training to users
(employees) to gain skill in handling the latest computing software could help improve on
business operation. The latest software should be user friendly and capable of accepting more
users during peak business operation
Communicate clear goals and expectations to your employees
Share information and numbers in better and secured way
Encourage open communication
Discuss implementation strategies with the other meeting attendees. It will be important
that all users of any new system are introduced to it in the most effective way, so discuss
with them what the most effective way to do this would be.
Defining the strategy framework
On the one hand, strategy is something that should be embedded in everything that you do. It should be in the DNA
of the organization and its people. On the other-hand, if you don't make an effort to call it out explicitly, you won't get
the focus or traction that you need.
The next step of our guide to strategy implementation is where you will start creating your plan. Now that you've got
your framework(s) in place, you're to move onto the actual creation of your strategic plan.
It is the part of strategy implementation is where you can start to establish your strategy rhythm. The ironic thing
about strategy implementation is that even though everyone acknowledges how important it is - it's often the first
thing to be forgotten about when the going gets tough.

Cloud storage
Cloud can offer you the possibility of storing your files and accessing, storing, and retrieving them from
any web-enabled interface. The web services interfaces are usually simple. At any time and place, you
have high availability, speed, scalability, and security for your environment. In this scenario,
organizations are only paying for the amount of cloud storage they are actually consuming, and do so
without the worries of overseeing the daily maintenance of the storage infrastructure.
There is also the possibility to store the data either on- or off-premises depending on the regulatory
compliance requirements. Data is stored in virtualized pools of storage hosted by a third party based on
the customer specification requirements.
Disaster recovery
Yet another benefit derived from using cloud is the cost-effectiveness of a disaster recovery (DR)
solution that provides for faster recovery from a mesh of different physical locations at a much lower
cost that the traditional DR site with fixed assets, rigid procedures and a much higher cost.
Data backup
Backing up data has always been a complex and time-consuming operation. This included maintaining
a set of tapes or drives, manually collecting them, and dispatching them to a backup facility with all the
inherent problems that might happen in between the originating and the backup site. This way of
ensuring a backup is performed is not immune to problems (such as running out of backup media), and
there is also the time it takes to load the backup devices for a restore operation, which takes time and is
prone to malfunctions and human errors.
Cloud-based backup, while not being the panacea, is certainly a far cry from what it used to be. You
can now automatically dispatch data to any location across the wire with the assurance that neither
security, availability nor capacity is issues.
Business Processing
Many business management applications like customer relationship management (CRM) and enterprise
resource planning (ERP) are also based on a cloud service provider. Software as a Service (SAAS) has
become a popular method for deploying enterprise level software.
Implementation strategies.
First of all, the company needs to be introduced to the cloud storage facility with the capacity of storing
more data. Storing data on cloud is more secure and easily accessible for the employees. It is also easy
and efficient for the company to communicate the data to clients. Secondly, the current computing
resources of the company are also inadequate and inefficient, so increasing the RAM size and latest
computer processors could be beneficial. Furthermore, the new software that could handle more numbers
of users than the existing one needs to be developed to cope up with the increased business operations
and more employees. Finally, every users of the company needs to be informed about the changes in the
computer’s software and hardware. This could be done by individual or group discussion, training and
regular feedback from staff. The software developers should make the necessary changes to the
accounting software on the basis of those feedbacks and changes in the technologies.

Introduction
Accountants Support being a small business engages in work that include invoices, order forms,
and accounting spreadsheets. It specialises in providing accounting document templates for
small and medium businesses.
With the growing list of businesses, the workload is increasing and so is the data. Currently, Anna
stores a copy of each resource on her computer’s hard drive, carefully filed so they are easy to
access. Anna distributes these to her colleagues when they need to be written or reviewed as
email attachments, and they pass them to each other in the same way when they need
assistance. This means lot of Anna’s time is consumed in storage of these documents on her
system and the system being a technical device can crash anytime. This further puts the entire
work till date at risk, which needs to be thought upon. On the other hand such data related issues
and time inefficiency need to be solved with immediate attention.
Implementation strategies
An extensive Training calendar has been designed to ensure the staff the well equipped with the
required knowledge and training to adopt the new administrative procedures. Furthermore, the
new software training is aligned in accordance to the new administrative procedures to let the
staff to imply the process during the training. This will give ample opportunity to the staff to get
hands on and better understanding of application of the new policies and procedures. Besides,
this monthly meet shall be scheduled at the beginning of every month to review and challenges
faced in the previous month to ensure the transition to new systems and procedures has been
smooth.

Accounting Incorporated
Administration needs report
• Over the course of the coming weeks, we generally expect to see an increased need for
working independently. Employees should be able to review and save their own data
without risk of loss and to eliminate the tedious necessity of reviewing each other’s work.
• The administration manager should be able to handle archives and communicate
with other consultants.
• With the scope of cloud computing, data can be backed up online without the need of a
hard drive storing thousands of files.
• The company currently owns three 27 inch HP Pavilion desktops that have an intel core
i7-8700T processor, 16GB RAM and 2TB memory. The desktops are all loaded with
Windows 10 Home for ease of use
• There are also 2 laptops, 15.6 inch, model HP ProBook 455 G, also using
windows 10
The computers are used to create the templates, correct other documents and store other documents
Anticipated future computing needs
• Storage capacity will be increased. Cloud can offer you the possibility of storing your files and
accessing, storing and retrieving them from any web-enabled interface. The web services
interfaces are usually simple. At any time and place you have high availability, speed,
scalability and security for your environment. In this scenario, we will only be paying for the
amount of cloud storage they are actually consuming, and do so without the worries of
overseeing the daily maintenance of the storage
infrastructure.
• Using the new back up system, we can now automatically dispatch data to any location
across the wire with the assurance that neither security, availability nor capacity are issues.
Implementation strategies
• Since the computing system we have is somewhat reliable, the next move is to update the
system to introduce cloud computing
• The first step is to create a cloud storage platform on-premises. A system that both
legacy applications and new modern applications can utilize without having to refactor
applications. This means buying an object storage system that supports both legacy
protocol access like NFS and SMB, as well as S3 support.
• The next step is to move to the cloud. Here, the object storage solution should provide the
ability to synchronize data to the cloud based on policies. This will aid the company to
replicate all the data to the cloud, while also moving old, archive, or infrequently accessed
data to the public cloud. The important capability is, again, that simultaneous access to
data, which means that a cloud service that is expecting data stored in an object store can
access that data via the S3 protocol.
• The final step in the process is to go multi-cloud, essentially synchronize data between
clouds. Multi- cloud capabilities give the organization the opportunity to take advantage
of services unique to certain providers or take advantage of better compute or storage
pricing.

5. Anticipated future computing needs _ next 3 years
- Eliminate email (it is obsolete and takes a lot time to check)
- Independent working (will be able to work at home)
- suggest ADM takes over the admin role at storing and manageable the contractors so AS is
free to focus on building up business - marketing etc.
- Stable and fast internet connection since most of the documents will be stored online via the cloud
so a good internet connection is a must
- Procedure guide sheet when uploading documents to the cloud
- Monthly/weekly check of the cloud system making sure that all the documents are in place
6. Implementation strategies
Account Supports will be needed to complete these tasks:
- Set up a meeting with all the consultants, employees to introduce the system, product
- Ask them to create an account for the cloud storage system
- Introduce them the guide sheet procedures of uploading file onto the cloud
- Making sure that all of them understand everything
- Show them how it is done by uploading previous documents
- Monthly checking in with all the consultants, making sure that they know what they are doing
- Create an admin account for Anna and show her how to access, control the documents, problems
that could be happened, etc

When you choose cloud for data storage the responsibility of your information also lies with your service provider.
This saves you from the capital outlay for building infrastructure and maintenance. Your cloud service provider is
responsible for securing data and meeting legal and compliance requirements.
The good storage system can provide an environment to cut expenses and launch your apps in the market faster.
Rather than setting up physical environments developers can use the cloud to set up and dismantle test and
development environments. This saves the technical team from securing budgets and spending critical project time
and resources.
Business Processing:
Many business management applications like customer relationship management (CRM) and enterprise resource
planning (ERP) are also based on a cloud service provider. Software as a Service (SAAS) has become a popular
method for deploying enterprise level software.
Implementation strategies
The assessment of existing workflow, applications, and services will help you in migration. This determines
opportunities for digital innovation within business production. This will result in a clear target of benefits upon cloud
migration. Also, it will provide a list of apps and workloads that are cloud-ready.
You can examine procedures and infrastructure if they need cloud migration. You also need to check which one
should remain on-premise. Cloud migration is not compatible with all workflows and businesses right away. Thus,
advisory services need to assess the existing system.
Only those areas that would improve in migration should be part of the cloud adoption. After the assessment, the
cloud strategy is the next step on how to implement cloud computing.
Creating a strategy on how to implement cloud computing can help you plan migration. Cloud migration is a
technical and complicated procedure. Even experts need to specify a strategy that will keep them on track. This
guide is necessary to stick with the standards of how to implement cloud computing. Experts in advisory services
use this strategy on how to implement cloud computing:
A. Analyze business costs and benefits based on how to implement cloud computing.
For an enterprise-wide implementation, it is necessary to analyze money matters. How much would you need to
spend during the cloud migration? How much would you earn out of cloud migration? You need to know how much
you are willing to spend for the people who know how to implement cloud computing. You also need to compute if
the price is worth the benefits that you will get after the implementation. Make sure that a cost-benefit analysis helps
you decide on your business interest.
Cloud implementation needs a clear plan of implementation. Thus, it is necessary to create an IT roadmap. An IT
roadmap is applicable to any industry that needs cloud migration. Thus, there are different kinds of IT roadmap:
Enterprise IT roadmap
IT project roadmap
IT architecture roadmap
Engineering IT roadmap
An IT roadmap enumerates the clear process of cloud migration. This IT roadmap can help you plot the timeline and
the tasks to finish for a successful migration. You need a map that can deliver cost savings, timely tasks, and
scalability of resources. An IT roadmap can list down and answer how to implement cloud computing for any
industry.
Clear pointers on how to implement cloud computing can help place details on the process. This will ensure that
cloud migration covers all the demands of an area in production. An overlooked detail could mess up cloud
adoption. It cloud interrupt the business workflow. These pointers should be part of the transformation process,
technologies, and capabilities.
These are the basic advisory services that cloud computing solutions can extend. Learn how to implement cloud
computing. At the same time, identify the experts in digital transformation. Transform your business into a cloud-
ready enterprise

With cloud computing, there are now readily available environments tailored for your needs at your fingertips.
This often combines, but is not limited to, automated provisioning of physical and virtualized resources.
Retailers and suppliers are now extracting information derived from consumers’ buying patterns to target their

Account Support (AC) has been running by Anna for the past ten years. Since she was first started as a
small business, documents that she created or received are all stored in the main computer at her office. In
order for the other consultants to gain access to those documents, they will email Anna and she would
email them back as a file attachment via email. That method seems to be fine at first but right now, her
business is growing day by day, meaning that there will be more and more documents will be needed to be
stored properly
Anna is looking for new solution to fix this situation. So she hired an administration manager to take care of
this and she can work on improving her business, increase sales and profits.

Among the many incentives for using cloud, there are two situations where organizations are looking into ways
to assess some of the applications they intend to deploy into their environment through the use of a cloud
(specifically a public cloud). While in the case of test and development it may be limited in time, adopting a
hybrid cloud approach allows for testing application workloads, therefore providing the comfort of an
environment without the initial investment that might have been rendered useless should the workload testing
fail.
Test and development
Probably the best scenario for the use of a cloud is a test and development environment. This entails securing a
budget, setting up your environment through physical assets, significant manpower and time. Then comes the
installation and configuration of your platform. All this can often extend the time it takes for a project to be
completed and stretch your milestones.
Retailers and suppliers are now extracting information derived from consumers’ buying patterns to target their
advertising and marketing campaigns to a particular segment of the population. Social networking platforms are
now providing the basis for analytics on behavioral patterns that organizations are using to derive meaningful
information.
File storage
Cloud can offer you the possibility of storing your files and accessing, storing and retrieving them from any web-
enabled interface. The web services interfaces are usually simple. At any time and place you have high
availability, speed, scalability and security for your environment. In this scenario, organizations are only paying
for the amount of cloud storage they are actually consuming, and do so without the worries of overseeing the
daily maintenance of the storage infrastructure. There is also the possibility to store the data either on or off
premises depending on the regulatory compliance requirements. Data is stored in virtualized pools of storage
hosted by a third party based on the customer specification requirements.
Disaster recovery
This is yet another benefit derived from using cloud based on the cost effectiveness of a disaster recovery (DR)
solution that provides for a faster recovery from a mesh of different physical locations at a much lower cost that
the traditional DR site with fixed assets, rigid procedures and a much higher cost.
This can also reduce the cost of software as placing components of the program on different storage is
economical.
Set up a meeting with all the consultants, employees to introduce the system, product
Ask them to create an account for the cloud storage system
Introduce them the guide sheet procedures of uploading file onto the cloud
Making sure that all of them understand everything
Show them how it is done by uploading previous documents
Monthly checking in with all the consultants, making sure that they know what they are doing
Create an admin account for Anna and show her how to access, control the documents, problems that could be
happened, etc

Dear Anna,
In light of the growing list of businesses, the workload is increasing and so is the data has eventually brought
us to a stage to address for data storage and time inefficiency. Some high- efficient systems of Enterprise
resource planning (ERP) and MYOB essentials has come as highly recommended. ERP is an efficient
business process management software that provides one central repository for all information thus improve
the flow of data across the business.
Both the computing systems are cloud based, thus all the data shall be stored online and making it easy to
access from any location and any device. This will further enhance the performance and efficiency by saving
time and better results.
Please find attached the Administration needs report. With an aim to implement the two computing systems in
the business and achieve higher profitability, a training calendar has been designed to support the staff to
adopt the new procedures over the next three years.
We look forward to your kind guidance after your perusal. Please advice

Review the Finance Policy and Procedures to ensure that your report fulfils the supplier
requirements as set out there.
Your report should be about three pages long and include the following:
An explanation of the fundamentals of cloud-based data storage. Anna has a fairly basic
level of computer literacy, so ensure that the explanation is aimed at her level.
Relevant legislation. Give a summary of legislation which may affect the use of cloud-based
data storage.
Details of at least three cloud-based data storage services that could be used by
Accountants Support. The details should include the price of the services and what
services are being offered. These details should be contained in screen shots.
A basic cost-benefit analysis of the move to cloud-based data storage. You are also
required to describe how you undertook the analysis.
Identifying any potential risks of moving to cloud-based data storage.
Potential opportunities and risks associated with introducing cloud-based data storage to
Accountants Support.
Your recommendation of what type of cloud-based data storage service would be
appropriate for Anna’s needs.
Make a business case for using cloud-based data storage in the future.
Use the Cloud-based Data Storage Report Template to guide your work.
The cloud storage is a storage space available to store data on remote servers which can be accessed from the
cloud (or the internet). The data is managed, maintained and backed up remotely, for which the users generally pay
a monthly or per consumption rate.
Cloud storage uses data centers with massive computer servers that physically store the data and make it available
online to users via web. Users can remotely upload their content, store them and retrieve the data as and when
required. With the introduction of cloud, now you don’t need to purchase servers, external hard drives and memory
sticks to carry your data from one place to another.
Cloud storage involves at least one data server that a user connects to via the internet. The user sends files
manually or in an automated fashion over the Internet to the data server which forwards the information to
multiple servers. The stored data is then accessible through a web-based interface.
Cloud storage systems involve vast numbers of data servers to ensure their availability. That way, if one
server requires maintenance or fails, the user can rest assured that the data has been replicated elsewhere
to ensure availability. For example, the Amazon AWS Cloud spans 55 availability zones in 18 geographic
regions at the present time.
While the data in a public cloud is replicated in different physical locations for fault tolerance and disaster
recovery purposes, the primary or local location tends to be nearer physically to the company's facility using
it so the data can be processed faster and at lower costs then, say choosing a primary location halfway
around the globe.
Cloud storage management trends continue to unfold with more companies extending out to the cloud.
Public clouds are managed by public cloud service providers. Their infrastructure and services include:
Servers
Storage
Networking
Data center operations
Cloud benefits:
Reduced Cost: It is cost-effective. Cloud computing provides a pay-as-you-go model, which means that you only
have to pay for the resources that you use. This model brings with it many benefits, including.
Flexibility: Flexibility benefits derive from rapid provisioning of new capacity and rapid relocation or
migration of workloads. In public sector settings, cloud computing provides agility in terms of procurement
and acquisition process and timelines.
Sustainability: The poor energy efficiency of most existing data centers, due to poor design or poor asset
utilization, is now understood to be environmentally and economically unsustainable. Through leveraging
economies of scale and the capacity to manage assets more efficiently, cloud computing consumes far less
energy and other resources than a traditional IT data center.
Secure: You have physical security – The data centers are equipped with walls, cameras, security personnel,
gates, and so on to protect their assets. You have digital security – The cloud providers make sure that your data is
secure from any potential threats and unauthorized users.
Google drive
Apple iCloud
Dropbox
Relevant legislation.
The Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act) regulates any overseas disclosures of personal information, a
matter that is clearly relevant to many cloud computing implementations. Any organization covered by
the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act must comply with certain obligations when
disclosing personal information outside of Australia.
Small business consumers of the cloud remain protected by the overarching consumer protection
framework that applies to all goods and services in Australia – the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). The
ACL is technology neutral and provides protection against:
False or Misleading Representations;
Unconscionable conduct
Product Guarantees
Cost-benefit analysis
Risks
Security: Although cloud service providers implement the best security standards to store important
information. But, before adopting cloud technology, you should be aware that you will be sending all your
organization's sensitive information to a third party, i.e., a cloud computing service provider. While sending
the data on the cloud, there may be a chance that your organization's information is hacked by Hackers.
Cloud credentials: The basic value proposition of the cloud is that it offers near-unlimited storage for
everyone. This means that even an enterprise’s data is usually stored along with other customers’ data,
leading to potential data breaches via third parties
Data leakage: Most of the businesses that have held back from adopting the cloud have done so in the fear
of having their data leaked. This feat stems from the fact that the cloud is a multi-user environment, wherein
all the resources are shared. It is also a third-party service, which means that data is potentially at risk of
being viewed or mishandled by the provider
No control over data: With cloud services like Google Drive, Dropbox, and Microsoft Azure becoming a
regular part of business processes, enterprises have to deal with newer security issues such as loss of
control over sensitive data. The problem here is that when using third-party file sharing services, the data is
typically taken outside of the company’s IT environment, and that means that the data’s privacy settings are
beyond the control of the enterprise
Opportunities
Access to automatic updates: Access to automatic updates for your IT requirements may be included in
your service fee. Depending on your cloud computing service provider, your system will regularly be
updated with the latest technology. This could include up-to-date versions of software, as well as upgrades
to servers and computer processing power
Flexibility of work practices: Cloud computing allows employees to be more flexible in their work
practices. For example, you have the ability to access data from home, on holiday, or via the commute to
and from work (providing you have an internet connection)
Cost savings: Cloud storage for your business will come at little or no cost for a small or medium-
sized organization. This will reduce your annual operating costs and even more savings because it
does not depend on internal power to store information remotely.
Scalability: With cloud storage, you only pay for the amount of storage you require. If your business
experiences growth, then the cloud operator can help accommodate your corresponding growth in
data storage needs. All you will have to do is vary how much you pay to extend the storage you
have. This also works in the same way if your business shrinks and you require less storage space
at a reduced rate.
Recommendation
I would like to recommend google drive as the cloud-based data storage for Anna’s office
100 GB plan
$25/year
Advantages:
Cross-platform apps
Business case
The recommended cloud-based data storage for business is Google drive. It is one of the leading providers of cloud
storage services in the market today. Google drive is highly recommended for business because of the following
principal reasons.
It offers flexible subscription options. Depending on the volume of the data that the company wishes to store,
they can choose the best and affordable option.
It offers top security.
It is affordable, therefore, enabling the company to save on costs.

report
Relevant legislation.
The Information Privacy Act 2009 (IP Act) contains a number of privacy principles which set out the rules for
how personal information is to be collected, managed, used and disclosed by small businesses in Australia. The
business entities must comply to the below legislations while using the cloud based systems:
• Personal information as per the section 12 of the IP Act requires any information about an individual
who can be identified directly from the information, or whose identity can be reasonably ascertained by
reference to other information must be encompassed
• The privacy principles are the obligations set out in chapter 2 of the IP Act. These include the obligation
to comply with the Information Privacy Principles (IPPs) or, for health agencies, the National Privacy
Principles (NPPs), the contracted service provider principles in part 4 and the rules about transferring
personal information out of Australia in section 33.
• Transfer out of Australia rules: The IP Act only permits personal information to be sent out of Australia in
the circumstances set out in section 33. Businesses are responsible for checking where a cloud
provider operates from, even when dealing with an Australian company. If the provider, or the hardware
used by that provider, is not located in Australia, entities will need to ensure they comply with section 33
for any personal information sent to the cloud.
• Protection and security (IPP 4, NPP 4): businesses are required to ensure that personal information is
properly protected against loss and unauthorised access, use and disclosure. This refer to the level of
security to be considered and whether the information complies with the privacy principles.
Cost-benefit analysis
Cost-benefit analysis is used to measure the benefits of a decision or taking action after deducting
the costs associated with taking that action. The process involves measurable financial metrics such as
revenue earned or costs saved as a result of the decision to pursue a project. In order to perform a cost-benefit
analysis, the below needs to be followed:
• Audit your current IT infrastructure costs: The audit will reveal the current expense incurred on running
the resources and what expenses would look like due to the new cloud environment. This baseline
assists in figuring out the potential cost of the cloud resources to be consumed by the business.
• Calculate your estimated cloud infrastructure costs: audit should give a solid understanding of the
network, storage and database capacity required to run the applications the business want to migrate
to the cloud. Like any other cloud services providers, google also have it’s own calculator to estimate
the cost involved in the process of switching to a cloud based storage system. The URL Google Cloud
Platform Pricing Calculator can be used to calculate the estimated cost of cloud infrastructure.
• Estimate cloud migration execution costs: Cloud providers charge fees for transferring data to their
systems, so these network costs have to be accounted for. Another high-ticket item may be the labor
involved in ensuring your company’s data is properly synchronized once you deploy to the cloud from
legacy systems.
Risks
Identify any potential risks of moving to cloud-based data storage.
No control over data: when using third-party file sharing services, the data is typically taken outside of the
company’s IT environment, and that means that the data’s privacy settings are beyond the control of the
enterprise. This can be handled by performing key management effectively from the beginning itself.
Data leakage: cloud being a multi-user environment, has all the resources are shared which means that data is
potentially at risk of being viewed or mishandled by the provider. There are also a number of external threats
that can lead to data leakage. Thus the best strategy is to depend on encryption and stronger passwords,
instead of the cloud service provider themselves.
Opportunities
MYOB Essentials shall be a great option for businesses who needed accounting software. It has been around
for decades and enjoys a great global reputation. There are plenty of reports in the application, ready to go
including the essential GST report for completing your BAS as well as Profit and Loss. This is the best feature
of MYOB Essentials to be able to attach documents relating to certain reports in the accounting system for
detailed information by using the export functions. Unfortunately, MYOB Essentials doesn’t provide a sample
company data to play with or test the technical features to practice. The only way to use the free trial is to enter
your own data into the application which is indeed a time-consuming task.
Recommendation
Enterprise resource planning would be the best suitable cloud based system for Accountants Support as it is a
small business. However, it will not only resolve the issue of data storage but also help the business improve
efficiency by collecting and managing the entire data at one place. Currently a significant amount of Anna’s
time is consumed in storage of these documents on her system and the system being a technical device can
crash anytime. This further puts the entire work till date at risk, which will be resolved by the use of ERP.
Essentially, it will allow Anna and other Consultants to focus on other projects and increase productivity.
Business case
We currently have lot of data issues. The most critical one’s is, every day, we seem to gather and then retain
more and more data. Due to our growth in business, our internal, transactional data volumes and needs are
growing. We are now adding massive amounts of external data, invoicing data, data from small business, data
from our suppliers, business data relating to medium business, to our existing data volumes. With this
increasing data load, we need to make the case for a pretty constant stream of data storage and
backup enhancements and new procedures.
It is more of a challenge when we dealing with "IT plumbing" like storage and backup with more crucial
benefits. So, we can reflect back on Accounting support business case successes and failures. From this, we
can recognize three successful practices.
First, focus the business case on what really adds value. But, when it comes to data, what is valuable? And,
just because data is available, does that mean we need it or will use it? To get started, we can two of the
below value-based critical questions:
If we are capturing data that does not map to making those decisions, we don't need it. Having some value-
based criteria upfront dramatically simplifies the entire storage and backup business case and project.
Second, not all of the data we capture is created equally and our processes should reflect this reality. We in
the current business scenario like to classify my data into several buckets -- regulatory, permanent record,
transitional and summary. We keep the regulatory data only for the required period of time; we keep the
permanent record data forever and we keep the transitional data for as long as it is useful for analysis. The
transitional data is also highly used for future reference.
Finally, I should take a truly objective look at alternatives to on-premise, self-managed data storage and
backup. It could be that doing it all myself is just not a battle that is worth fighting and despite consuming lot of
my time which can be spent on process improvements and other meeting with clients. No matter what, but we
cannot assume on-premise, self-managed is the most responsible, credible thing to do. At a minimum, taking an
honest look at the alternatives will give this business case analysis an element of validity.
The nature of data and data management is changing as volumes increase and technologies iterate. But, we
can still make attempts to safeguard and store data more efficiently, with this value-based business case by
applying some recommendations on how to manage the data after looking at various cloud based storage
systems.

Accounting Incorporated
Relevant legislation.
1. The Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act) regulates the handling of personal information by
businesses with an annual turnover of more than $3 million, and certain smaller businesses.
We are subject to the obligations set out in the ‘Australian Privacy Principles’ or ‘APPs’. Our
key obligations include the following
• The privacy policies of cloud providers must state the intended disclosure arrangements of
personal information, including to any offshore storage destination/recipients (APP 1)
• Cloud providers can only disclose personal information to a person or organisation outside
Australia where they have taken reasonable steps to ensure the overseas recipient does
not breach the protections afforded under Australian privacy law. Further, cloud providers
remain legislatively
accountable for unauthorised or inadvertent data security breaches that may occur offshore (APP 8)
• Cloud providers must give an individual access to personal data held about them upon
request – and take reasonable steps correct any personal data if required (APP 10, APP 12,
APP 13)
• Cloud providers must take reasonable steps to secure personal data from misuse,
interference or loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure (APP 11)
• Cloud providers must take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify personal information that
is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected (APP 11). Remember that the
Privacy Act may apply
2. Australian Consumer Law Small business consumers of the cloud remain protected by the
overarching consumer protection framework that applies to all goods and services in
Australia – the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). The ACL is technology neutral and provides
protection against
• False or misleading representations
• Unconscionable conduct
• Product guarantees.
• If a cloud service provider claims that a certain level of protection will apply to your data,
and fails to live up to its promise, it might be in breach of the ACL.
Cost-benefit analysis
Since cloud computing uses on-demand pricing, it is important to calculate the cost of maintaining IT
infrastructure in house.
• It is important to understand the contribution of IT infrastructure costs to the monthly rental
structure in an organization. Hence, amortization parameter is calculated for servers and
other facilities so that
fair attribution of costs for various IT resources (hardware/software) can be brought about. This
parameter is required to calculate the monthly depreciation cost (amortization cost) of each
infrastructure item being considered.
• Electricity bill
• Internet charges
• Employee salary
Risks
• Consumers Have Reduced Visibility and Control. When transitioning assets/operations to
the cloud, we might lose some visibility and control over those assets/operations. When using
external cloud services, the responsibility for some of the policies and infrastructure moves to
the CSP.
• On-Demand Self Service Simplifies Unauthorized Use. Due to the lower costs and ease of
implementing cloud storage system, the probability of unauthorized use of cloud services
increases. However, services provisioned or used without IT's knowledge present risks to an
organization. The use
of unauthorized cloud services could result in an increase in malware infections or data exfiltration since
the organization is unable to protect resources it does not know about. The use of unauthorized cloud
services also decreases an organization's visibility and control of its network and data.
• Increased Complexity Strains IT Staf. Migrating to the cloud can introduce complexity into
IT operations. Managing, integrating, and operating in the cloud may require that the agency's
existing IT
staff learn a new model. IT staff must have the capacity and skill level to manage, integrate, and
maintain the migration of assets and data to the cloud in addition to their current responsibilities
for on-premises IT.
Opportunities
• Satisfy customer expectations for more and better services through online and mobile
channels, faster and more flexible delivery, and greater product selection.
• Large storage capacity for all documents with reduced risk of loss.
• Innovate by leveraging mobility, social media, the cloud, big data, and other disruptive
technologies.
• Lower the cost of business operations through operational excellence.
• Improve financial performance and its basis for competitive advantage.
• Allow greater focus on core competencies by outsourcing non-core activities and freeing up
capital, i.e., shifting CapEx to OpEx
Recommendation
Other than being readily available to our system, OneDrive for business is quite affordable hence reducing
the cost of implementation. The real power behind OneDrive for Business is that it gives employees a
place to store files and work on documents that is accessible from anywhere. People can generate
documents within their OneDrive space or upload documents and files and have a multitude of tools at their
disposal to organize their personal content.
One of the biggest advantages for OneDrive for Business is that it empowers users to easily
interact with MS Office files. With OneDrive for Business, we will have the full functionality of
PowerPoint, Word, Excel and most other Office 365 applications that interact with it seamlessly
in multiple ways.
Business case
Cloud computing can enable innovation, dramatically reduce capital and operating costs, increase
agility, and reduce time to market for new products and services. The cloud delivers benefits to
both the business, through enablement, and IT via operational improvements. In fact, it is often an
individual business unit that is leading the enterprise and IT towards cloud adoption.
Cost Savings May Be Significant With typical IT organizations spending over 30% of their budget
on infrastructure, shifting this work to the cloud can save our company anywhere from 10-20% of
our annual IT budget, savings that can either be returned to the firm or reinvested in growth and
innovation. This cloud run-rate economic advantage comes from two primary cost drivers: higher
utilization rates as a result of a significant drop in “capacity hoarding” and lower unit costs from the
increased scale, newer technologies, best practices, and improved operational efficiency of the
cloud providers.
The cost of ownership gap of 30 to 40% between traditional IT and public cloud services is
predicted to continue, if not widen, over the next few years, driving growth in the market for
high-quality and secure externally-hosted cloud capacity at over 40% per year.
In conclusion, I believe that cloud computing is the best move for Accounting Incorporated to make
as it will save us both time and money while also growing the company.
==========================================================================
Relevant legislation
In Australia, there are two key laws that provide protection to consumers when using cloud
services.
The Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act) regulates how most businesses handle personal information.
Personal information is any information or opinion about an individual who is ‘reasonably
identifiable’.
When using a cloud service, you are also broadly protected by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
The ACL is technology neutral and provides consumers with protections against:
• unfair contractual terms and conditions;
• false or misleading representations;
• unconscionable conduct; and
• Product guarantees.
Moving the business to the cloud eliminates the cost of hardware and maintenance. Removing these
capital expenditures and the associated service salaries can translate into significant cost savings.
Also the productivity increases with the cloud storage.
Potential Risks
With every kind of new technology, whether physical or virtual, there are security risks associated
with using cloud storage and file sharing apps. The main issue is that enterprises have to entrust the
security of their sensitive business data to third-parties, who may or may not be working in their best
interest. In fact, security or the lack thereof has restricted universal adoption of cloud services.
• No Control over Data: With cloud services like Google Drive, Dropbox, and
Microsoft Azure becoming a regular part of business processes, enterprises
have to deal with newer security issues such as loss of control over sensitive
data. The problem here is that when using third-party file sharing services, the
data is typically taken outside of the company’s IT environment, and that
means that the data’s privacy settings are beyond the control of the
enterprise.
• Data Leakage: There are also a number of external threats that can lead to
data leakage, including malicious hacks of cloud providers or compromises of
cloud user accounts. It is also a third-party service, which means that data is
potentially at risk of being viewed or mishandled by the provider.
• BYOD: BYOD brings major security risks if it’s not properly managed. Stolen,
lost or
misused devices can mean that a business’ sensitive data is now in the hands of a
third-party who could breach the company’s network and steal valuable information.
• Cloud Credentials: The basic value proposition of the cloud is that it offers
near- unlimited storage for everyone leading to potential data breaches via
third parties. While a credential compromise may not give attackers access
to the data within your files, it could allow them to perform other tasks such
as making copies or deleting them.
Potential opportunities
• Cost Savings: The first benefit is the cost advantage. Cloud storage is
generally more affordable because providers distribute the costs of their
infrastructure and services across many businesses.
Moving your business to the cloud eliminates the cost of hardware and maintenance.
Removing these capital expenditures and the associated service salaries can translate into
significant cost savings.
• Simplified Convenience: All you will need within your office is a computer
and an internet connection. Much of your server hardware will no longer be
necessary, which saves physical space and eliminates the need for
maintenance and employee attention.
Your cloud storage provider will maintain, manage and support your solution. This frees up
employees who would otherwise cover the tasks necessary for keeping your data safe and
your server(s) up and running.
• Scalable Service: With cloud storage, you pay for what you use, as you use
it. You do not need to anticipate how much storage space you will need for
the year and risk paying for unused space or running short. You can
adjust the resources available
through cloud storage providers and pay based on your current needs, modifying as they
change.
Google gives every user 15 GB of free storage though Google One, Google Docs, Sheets and Slides
files do not count towards the storage limit This cloud storage is also shared with Gmail and Google
Photos. An unlimited number of photos at maximum 16 megapixels and videos at maximum 1080p
resolutions are stored for free using the "High quality" setting in Google Photos. Using the "Original
quality" setting uses Google Drive quota.
Google Drive for Work is a business version, a part of G Suite (formerly Google Apps for Work),
announced at the Google I/O conference on June 25, 2014 and made available immediately. The
service features unlimited storage, advanced file audit reporting and eDiscovery services, along with
enhanced administration control and new APIs specifically useful to businesses. Users can upload files
as large as 5 TB
Many businesses use several different devices during the day. Many times, operating systems on
computers and mobile devises are not compatible with different programs. It is difficult to choose among
any available cloud storage. Choosing programs that will run on several operating systems, be
convenient, secure and easy to use is important. Google drive enables us to share, edit and comment
on documents, presentations and forms from anywhere. Google Drive allows many features unavailable
with other programs.
Work anywhere: Whether you are at the office, home or on a business trip, Google Drive allows to
access your files and folders from anywhere including mobile phone. By accessing Google account, we
have full access to everything we need. There is no need to worry about file conversions as Google
Drive has the document, spreadsheet, power point and drawing apps you need so you can get to work
no matter where.
Uploading and file sharing in Google Drive: One of Google Drive's largest asset is file sharing. Users
can simply log into their own Google accounts or click on the link to view shared files. Even if someone
does not have a Google account they can view as a guest. Files written are automatically updated and
synced so that team or customers can view the files in real time. There's no need to email and wait for a
reply that can sometimes take time from your already busy day.
Multiple operating systems: No matter what kind of operating system, Google Drive will work on all
systems. There is no need to worry about file conversions. Google Drive provides you with up to date
versions that can be created on PC or Mac then viewed on your mobile phone.
Security in Google Drive: Google Drive presents a unique way to keep files safe yet allow others to
view and revise them. Only files that have been marked for sharing can be viewed by other people.
You control who sees your files and who can edit and make comments. You or those you choose as
administrators can add or remove individuals or groups viewing your files.

businesses with an annual turnover of more than $3 million, and certain smaller businesses
including health service providers and businesses that trade in personal information1.
- Personal information is any information or opinion that identifies an individual2. This includes
information that could be reasonably used to identify someone, such as a telephone number
in many cases. Businesses are subject to the obligations set out in the ‘Australian Privacy

The flexibility of cloud computing is a function of the allocation of resources on demand. This facilitates the
use of the system’s cumulative resources, negating the need to assign specific hardware to a task. Before
cloud computing, websites and server-based applications were executed on a specific system. With the
advent of cloud computing, resources are used as an aggregated virtual computer. This amalgamated
configuration provides an environment where applications execute independently without regard for any
particular configuration.
How Cloud Storage Works
By end users using a web interface that are paying for capacity on a per-transaction basis
By users who specify pre-determined capacity which is prepared in advance of the service. The
customer then pays for the service monthly or pays a flat fee.
By the service provider which allocates resources dynamically as needed. Payment is on a pay-per-
use basis.
It is cost-effective
Cloud computing provides a pay-as-you-go model, which means that you only have to pay for the resources that
you use. This model brings with it many benefits, including.
It is scalable
You can increase or decrease the resources and services at any given time according to your needs. You can scale
your resources both vertically and horizontally according to your need.
Vertical scaling, also known as “scaling up”, refers to adding resources to increase the power of an existing server.
For example – adding more GPUs or adding more memory.
Horizontal Scaling, also known as “scaling out”, refers to adding more servers that function together as one unit.
It is reliable
Cloud providers often provide services like data recovery,
Disaster recovery and data replication services, as data is the most crucial information and cloud providers
help to secure it.
It is achieved through data redundancy.
So, if one component fails, a backup component will take its place.
This is known as fault tolerance.
It is secure
You have physical security – The data centres are equipped with walls, cameras, security personnel, gates, and so
on to protect their assets.
You have digital security – The cloud providers make sure that your data is secure from any potential threats and
unauthorised users.
It is global
Most cloud providers have fully redundant data centres in various regions throughout the globe allowing you to
replicate your services into multiple regions for redundancy and locality.
It is current
The cloud hardware is maintained and upgraded by the cloud providers and you can focus on what matters: building
and deploying applications.
A cloud application simply refers to any software application that is deployed in a cloud environment rather than
being hosted on a local server or machine. The term "cloud environment" describes how an IT organization has
configured its IT infrastructure to support cloud applications. There are three different models that are popular today:
Private cloud - private cloud infrastructure is used exclusively by a single organization. Its resources are not shared
by other organizations, and access to these systems is not available for the public. IT organizations can choose to
build their own private cloud infrastructure on-site or to have a 3rd-party company host and maintain the
infrastructure off-site. A private cloud environment acts as a private network, creating a secure environment for
applications, services and users.
Public cloud - public clouds can offer low rates for data storage capacity and flexible computing power due to
economies of scale. Companies that own and operate public cloud infrastructure deliver on-demand computing
services to a variety of customers across industry verticals. These companies own all of the hardware, software and
supporting infrastructure needed to deliver the services, which customers can typically access on any device with
internet access. Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Oracle are three well-known examples of
public cloud service providers.
Hybrid cloud - hybrid cloud environments use API technology to combine public and private clouds together into a
single environment. With a hybrid cloud environment, IT organizations can share data and applications between on-
premise servers and third-party public cloud applications, creating additional options for application deployment and
optimization.

Cost-benefit analysis
Since cloud computing uses on-demand pricing, it is important to calculate the cost of maintaining IT infrastructure
in house.
• It is important to understand the contribution of IT infrastructure costs to the monthly rental structure in an
organization. Hence, amortization parameter is calculated for servers and other facilities so that fair
attribution of costs for various IT resources (hardware/software) can be brought about. This parameter is
required to calculate the monthly depreciation cost (amortization cost) of each infrastructure item being
considered.
• Electricity bill
• Internet charges
• Employee salary
Risks
Compliance violations.
Identity theft.
Malware infections and data breaches.
Diminished customer trust and potential revenue loss.
Opportunities
Democratized innovation
Seamless, personalized experiences
Native collaboration
Robust user experiences
Large storage capacity for all documents with reduced risk of loss.
Innovate by leveraging mobility, social media, the cloud, big data, and other disruptive technologies.
Also maybe some resistance to new system by some staff
Lower productivity initially
Recommendation
Just as the name may suggest, this type of cloud storage means that the infrastructure is used by a single person or
company hence high level of privacy and security.
In public cloud storage, data and files of an individual are located within the premises of the company offering the
cloud storage services which means that as a client, you have no control over the nature of the storage
infrastructure. Also the infrastructure is shared, and so are the resources used, which means that the possibility
of data hijacking and other attacks may be experienced.
Hybrid Storage
This is an instance where by there are different categories of data which a business handles and such data will
require different storage methods because of the manner in which the access to the data might be needed.
I recommend Anna to use Private Cloud Storage system as it provides high level of privacy and security. Also,
while designing the infrastructure of a private cloud, the specific needs of the company as well specific
administrative controls are integrated with the storage concerns so as to enable ease of data access and
manipulation as well increase security level.
Business case
The business case for using a cloud-based storage system in the future is as follows:
Executive summary
The cloud storage system is a service that is provided where the data is stored safely, managed, and backed up
through the internet. This service is very beneficial for organizations requiring storing huge data and wanting it to be
secured. The storage system provides easy access to the data stored and can be available for use anytime. It is a
cost-saving method as transferring data is also possible conveniently. Thus, using a cloud storage system will be
very beneficial for an organization or an individual. There are three types of cloud storage system that can be used
and they are as follows:
1. Public cloud- Where the organization's data is stored with all the other company's data and can be accessed by
everyone but is managed by a third party.
2. Private cloud- In this, the company data is secured with a firewall and can be accessed only by the organization.
3. Hybrid cloud- This system is made available with the main features of both public and private cloud systems
where the confidential data is stored in the private cloud, and the less sensitive data is shared in the public cloud.
The recommended option for an organization to install a cloud storage system is a private cloud. It ensures the
necessary security of the company's data that can be made available to the required person as and when
necessary.
Implementation timeline
The implementation timeline for the cloud storage system depends on the size of the organization and the amount
of data that is to be transferred. It can be done easily by following the guidelines given by the provider. Once all the
necessary data is transferred it is secured and can be transferred easily among the employees.
In conclusion, I believe that cloud computing is the best move for Accounting Incorporated to make as it will save
us both time and money while also growing the company.
===============================================================================
The cloud storage uses a chain of servers that includes both master control server and other storage servers. The
servers are all linked with one another and it can be utilized depending upon your use and requirements, and billed
accordingly. Cloud storage saves your lot of money otherwise you would have to spend on more strong servers as
your business needs increases. But in cloud storage, you only pay for the space occupied by your data in the cloud.
Cloud storage generally supports multiple file types of all sizes, so you can easily upload all your important content
such as documents, videos, photos, music, movies and more. Once you sign up for cloud storage service and
upload your files, you can sync it with your Smartphone, tablet or other mobile devices for easy access while on the
go.
The most fascinating feature of cloud storage solutions is you can upload your files or download them from
anywhere across the World even without carrying your laptop. You just need internet access and any mobile device
on which you need to download the application of your service provider. Then, simply login to your account and
upload or download the files.
Cloud also allows you to share your content with other users or your team members working for your company. You
can give them access to remotely edit or read the files shared with them. Your team members can collaborate and
work together on a project and edit the documents shared with them. You can invite people to give access to your
files and folders and everyone with the access can see the shared documents in their account.

Storage
Reduced Cost: Cost is a clear benefit of cloud computing, both in terms of CapEx and OpEx. The reduction
in CapEx is obvious because an organization can spend in increments of required capacity and does not
need to build infrastructure for maximum (or burst) capacity. For most enterprises, OpEx constitutes the
majority of spending; therefore, by utilizing a cloud provider or adopting cloud paradigms internally,
organizations can save operational and maintenance budgets.
Flexibility: Flexibility benefits derive from rapid provisioning of new capacity and rapid relocation or migration
of workloads. In public sector settings, cloud computing provides agility in terms of procurement and
acquisition process and timelines.
Improved Automation: Cloud computing is based on the premise that services can not only be provisioned
but also de-provisioned in a highly automated fashion. This specific attribute offers significant efficiencies to
enterprises.
Focus on Core Competency: Government agencies can reap the benefits of cloud computing in order to
focus on its core mission and core objectives and leverage IT resources as a means to provide services to
citizens.

Relevant legislation
Data protection and privacy are often considered key risks when storing personal data in a cloud. The risks to
your data in the cloud include: loss or damage by your service provider and their staff. Therefore, Privacy Act is
applicable in cloud data storage services.
Also sometimes due to cloud data storage we may face client data leakage or loss problems, so, For instance, the
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of
1998 (COPPA), and the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003 (FACTA) are also applicable on it in
some or the other way.
Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) - FERPA is a federal law that protects student
information collected by educational institutions and associated vendors. These institutions must have
the student’s consent prior to disclosure of personal data including grades, enrollment status, or billing
information. Protection of student information according to FERPA regulations is a key consideration in
using cloud-based applications that handle student records. IT administrators must be aware of the
information that is passed to a cloud network or application.
The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority also has Prudential Standard CPS 231 regarding
outsourcing, which requires that all outsourcing arrangements (which would typically include the use of
cloud services) involving material business activities entered into by an APRA-regulated institution be
subject to appropriate due diligence, approval and ongoing monitoring.
Cost-benefit analysis
This is the cost of Google Drive for 1 year so now we must compare this to the savings that we hope to make by
using the Google Drive system.
The measure is mainly in terms of saving time
Anna - saving her time (say e.g. $50/h) by not having to constantly email back and forth each document
Say over the year Anna saves:
At least 1 hour per week x $50/ hour x 48 = $2400 per year
Then add time savings by consultants
An hour per month x $50/ hour x 11 month = $550
So: 6 x consultants x $550/ year = $3300 per year
So:
Anna’s time saving = $2400
Consultants time saving = $3300
Total time savings = $5700
Less cost = $2046
Net benefit = $3654 in first year
Risks
No control over data: With cloud services like Google Drive, Dropbox, and Microsoft Azure becoming a
regular part of business processes, enterprises have to deal with newer security issues such as loss of
control over sensitive data. The problem here is that when using third-party file sharing services, the data is
typically taken outside of the company’s IT environment, and that means that the data’s privacy settings are
beyond the control of the enterprise
Data leakage: Most of the businesses that have held back from adopting the cloud have done so in the fear
of having their data leaked. This feat stems from the fact that the cloud is a multi-user environment, wherein
all the resources are shared. It is also a third-party service, which means that data is potentially at risk of
being viewed or mishandled by the provider
Cloud credentials: The basic value proposition of the cloud is that it offers near-unlimited storage for
everyone. This means that even an enterprise’s data is usually stored along with other customers’ data,
leading to potential data breaches via third parties
Rogue devices: Not every security risk comes from the storage provider itself. The devices that access
your data are also a potential source of danger. Many companies are embracing BYOD culture, which
certainly has its benefits. This means, though, that more worker-owned devices will access your storage
provider, which poses a big security risk if one of those devices happens to be dangerous. Shadow IT is
another factor; any device that a worker doesn’t register but still uses to access your data can spell bad
news.
Opportunities
Reduce IT cost: Moving to cloud computing may reduce the cost of managing and maintaining your IT
systems. Rather than purchasing expensive systems and equipment for your business, you can reduce your
costs by using the resources of your cloud computing service provider
Collaboration efficiency: Collaboration in a cloud environment gives your business the ability to
communicate and share more easily outside of the traditional methods. If you are working on a project
across different locations, you could use cloud computing to give employees, contractors and third parties
access to the same files
Flexibility of work practices: Cloud computing allows employees to be more flexible in their work
practices. For example, you have the ability to access data from home, on holiday, or via the commute to
and from work (providing you have an internet connection)
Access to automatic updates: Access to automatic updates for your IT requirements may be included in
your service fee. Depending on your cloud computing service provider, your system will regularly be
updated with the latest technology. This could include up-to-date versions of software, as well as upgrades
to servers and computer processing power
Recommendation

Business case
Executive summary - The recommended cloud-based data storage for business is Amazon Web Services (WBS)
Cloud, popularly called Amazon S3. Amazon is one of the leading providers of cloud storage services in the market
today. AWS Cloud is highly recommended for business because of the following principal reasons. Firstly, Amazon
offers flexible subscription options. Depending on the volume of the data that the company wishes to store, they can
choose the best and affordable option. Secondly, AWS Cloud offers top security. Thirdly, AWS Cloud (Amazon S3)
is affordable, therefore, enabling the company to save on costs.
Cost for recommended option -Currently, Amazon offers storage at $0.021/GB and download at $0.09/GB.
Explanation:
Cost for recommended option -Currently, Amazon offers storage at $0.021/GB and download at $0.09/GB. The
cloud-storage is cheap, affordable, secure, and reliable for the business.
Implementation timeline - The implementation of Amazon S3 takes hours. So long the business has the necessary
technology; the implementation takes a few hours. Therefore, adopting Amazon S3 saves time and costs.
===============================================================================
Rather than keeping files on a proprietary hard drive or local storage device, cloud-based storage makes it possible
to save them to a remote database. As long as an electronic device has access to the web, it has access to the data
and the software programs to run it.
Cloud computing is a popular option for people and businesses for a number of reasons including cost savings,
increased productivity, speed and efficiency, performance, and security.
• Email
• Storage, backup, and data retrieval
• Creating and testing apps
• Analyzing data
• Audio and video streaming
• Delivering software on demand
Cloud computing is still a fairly new service but is being used by a number of different organizations from big
corporations to small businesses, non-profits to government agencies, and even individual consumers.
Deployment Models
There are various types of clouds, each of which is different from the other. Public clouds provide their services on
servers and storage on the Internet. These are operated by third-party companies, who handle and control all the
hardware, software, and the general infrastructure. Clients access services through accounts that can be accessed
by just about anyone.
Private clouds are reserved for specific clientele, usually one business or organization. The firm's data service
center may host the cloud computing service. Many private cloud computing services are provided on a private
network.
Hybrid clouds are, as the name implies, a combination of both public and private services. This type of model allows
the user more flexibility and helps optimize the user's infrastructure and security.
Advantages:
Cost savings: Using cloud infrastructure can costs, as organizations don't have to spend massive amounts of
money buying and maintaining equipment. This reduces their capital expenditure costs – as they don't have
to invest in hardware, facilities, utilities or building large data centers to accommodate their growing
businesses. Additionally, companies don't need large IT teams to handle cloud data center operations
because they can rely on the expertise of their cloud providers' teams. Cloud computing also cuts costs
related to downtime. Since downtime rarely happens in cloud computing, companies don't have to spend
time and money to fix any issues that may be related to downtime.
Mobility: Storing information in the cloud means that users can access it from anywhere with any device with
just an internet connection. That means users don't have to carry around USB drives, an external hard drive
or multiple CDs to access their data. Users can access corporate data via smartphones and other mobile
devices, enabling remote employees to stay up to date with coworkers and customers. End users can easily
process, store, retrieve and recover resources in the cloud. In addition, cloud vendors provide all the
upgrades and updates automatically, saving time and effort.
Disaster recovery: All organizations worry about data loss. Storing data in the cloud guarantees that users
can always access their data even if their devices, e.g., laptops or smartphones, are inoperable. With cloud-
based services, organizations can quickly recover their data in the event of emergencies, such as natural
disasters or power outages.
Applications:
With cloud computing, there are now readily available environments tailored for your needs at your fingertips. This
often combines, but is not limited to, automated provisioning of physical and virtualized resources.
Retailers and suppliers are now extracting information derived from consumers’ buying patterns to target their
advertising and marketing campaigns to a particular segment of the population. Social networking platforms are now
providing the basis for analytics on behavioral patterns that organizations are using to derive meaningful
information.
5. Cloud storage
Cloud can offer you the possibility of storing your files and accessing, storing, and retrieving them from any web-
enabled interface. The web services interfaces are usually simple. At any time and place, you have high availability,
speed, scalability, and security for your environment. In this scenario, organizations are only paying for the amount
of cloud storage they are actually consuming, and do so without the worries of overseeing the daily maintenance of
the storage infrastructure.
There is also the possibility to store the data either on- or off-premises depending on the regulatory compliance
requirements. Data is stored in virtualized pools of storage hosted by a third party based on the customer
specification requirements.
The Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Privacy Act) regulates any overseas disclosures of personal
information, a matter that is clearly relevant to many cloud computing implementations. Any
organization covered by the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act must comply with
certain obligations when disclosing personal information outside of Australia.
Customer acknowledges and agrees that it is solely responsible for compliance with the Children's
Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, including, but not limited to, obtaining parental consent
concerning collection of students' personal information used in connection with the provisioning and use
of the Services by the Customer and End Users
As part of providing the Service, Google may store and process Customer Data in the United States or
any other country in which Google or its agents maintain facilities. By using the Services, Customer
consents to this transfer, processing and storage of Customer Data.
Australian Consumer Law Small business consumers of the cloud remain protected by the overarching
consumer protection framework that applies to all goods and services in Australia – the Australian
Consumer Law (ACL). The ACL is technology neutral and provides protection against

Risks
1) Internet Connectivity
As you know, in cloud computing, every data (image, audio, video, etc.) is stored on the cloud, and we access these
data through the cloud by using the internet connection. If you do not have good internet connectivity, you cannot
access these data. However, we have no any other way to access data from the cloud.
2) Vendor lock-in
Vendor lock-in is the biggest disadvantage of cloud computing. Organizations may face problems when transferring
their services from one vendor to another. As different vendors provide different platforms, that can cause difficulty
moving from one cloud to another.
3) Limited Control
As we know, cloud infrastructure is completely owned, managed, and monitored by the service provider, so the
cloud users have less control over the function and execution of services within a cloud infrastructure.
4) Security
Although cloud service providers implement the best security standards to store important information. But, before
adopting cloud technology, you should be aware that you will be sending all your organization's sensitive
information to a third party, i.e., a cloud computing service provider. While sending the data on the cloud, there may
be a chance that your organization's information is hacked by Hackers.
Key management and encryption services become more complex in the cloud. The services, techniques, and
tools available to log and monitor cloud services typically vary across CSPs, further increasing complexity.
There may also be emergent threats/risks in hybrid cloud implementations due to technology, policies, and
implementation methods, which add complexity. This added complexity leads to an increased potential for
security gaps in an agency's cloud and on-premises implementations.
The impact is most likely worse when using IaaS due to an insider's ability to provision resources or perform
nefarious activities that require forensics for detection. These forensic capabilities may not be available with
cloud resources.
This threat increases as an agency uses more CSP services. Recovering data on a CSP may be easier than
recovering it at an agency because an SLA designates availability/uptime percentages. These percentages
should be investigated when the agency selects a CSP.
Potential opportunities
Accessibility: Files in the cloud can be accessed from anywhere with an Internet connection. This allows you
to move beyond time zone and geographic location issues.
Cost savings: Cloud storage for your business will come at little or no cost for a small or medium-sized
organization. This will reduce your annual operating costs and even more savings because it does not
depend on internal power to store information remotely.
Scalability: With cloud storage, you only pay for the amount of storage you require. If your business
experiences growth, then the cloud operator can help accommodate your corresponding growth in data
storage needs. All you will have to do is vary how much you pay to extend the storage you have. This also
works in the same way if your business shrinks and you require less storage space at a reduced rate.
Disaster recovery: All businesses should invest in an emergency backup plan and cloud storage can be used
like this by creating a second copy of important files. You can store these files at a remote location and they
can be accessed through an internet connection.
Recommendation
I would recommend the use of Google Drive for as the cloud-based data storage for Anna’s office.

Make a business case for using cloud-based data storage in the future.
Business case
A Cloud storage system involves using the web to securely store, manage, and backup knowledge. This service
edges organization with intensive data that has to be firmly stowed since it offers straightforward accessibility to
such data because the house owners will retrieve them from anyplace as long as there's a network affiliation.
Besides, the system is cost-efficient because it conjointly allows the straightforward and cheaper transfer of data at
the company's convenience, creating most organizations to adopt it. Consequently, cloud storage edges each
people and corporations since the system is split into 3 types; personal cloud wherever the organization's
knowledge is secured through a firewall, sanctioning solely the corporate to access the keep data; second is that
the public cloud on that many organizations data is control along and managed by a 3rd party. However, the info is
accessed by anyone interested. Finally, there's a hybrid cloud that may be a combination of personal and public
cloud systems. Here, the less sensitive data is keep on the general public cloud, whereas the confidential one is
keep safely within the personal cloud.
Therefore, a personal cloud is that the most recommendable possibility for firms as a result of it ensures security
and straightforward knowledge transfer at the organization's convenience.
The cost of employing a personal cloud system is commonly supported the storage facility's consumption, which
might either be yearly or monthly, looking on the subscribers' selection. However, the prices related to personal
cloud systems are usually slightly more than the opposite 2 supported the amount of security and convenience the
users receive. Consequently, most organizations and people World Health Organization will afford it like this
selection. The price will depend upon the supplier; however it ranges from four to twenty bucks per subscriber that
depends on alternative reasons like rise and fluctuation in usage. The price will increase with the rise within the
cupboard space, which implies that people World Health Organization store a lot of intensive knowledge pay a lot
of. People and businesses World Health Organization worth safety and convenience ought to pick this selection.

Assessment Task 2 Instructions
Cloud storage is a model of computer data storage in which the digital data is stored in logical pools. The
physical storage spans multiple servers (sometimes in multiple locations), and the physical environment is
typically owned and managed by a hosting company.
Cloud storage is a digital storage solution that utilizes multiple servers (typically across multiple locations) to
safely store files (such as site backups). In the past few years, cloud storage has grown in popularity and
become a direct challenger to local storage.
Short Term
Open free account on one of the cloud storage which could be Google Drive.
Copy all the accounting data into it.
Allow for easy access of documents to all employees
Long term
The total estimated budget to introduce the cloud storage is $2640. It is calculated with the rate of $40 per
hour for Presentation preparation and $50 per hour for consultation charge. The per hour rent for meeting
room is $200. Anna has been excluded in the budget.
The full workshop went on for a total of 5 hours, one hour break and another hour for one-on-one training.
Outline the steps and activities required to introduce cloud-based data storage into the business
Data protection and privacy are often considered key risks when storing personal data in a cloud. The risks
to your data in the cloud include: loss or damage by your service provider and their staff. Therefore, Privacy
Act is applicable in cloud data storage services.
Also, sometimes due to cloud data storage we may face client data leakage or loss problems, so, For
instance, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), the Children's Online
Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), and the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003
(FACTA) are also applicable on it in some or the other way.
===============================================================================
Prioritized list of the project’s short-term and longer-term goals
Regardless of where the service is provided from, it should be ensured that the performance of
the supporting technology can be measured and managed to achieve the levels of service
necessary for users to accomplish their mission or achieve their business goals.
Short-term goals:
Develop, document, and test the new or amended processes to ensure they meet their
intended goals and do not cause any unintended consequences.
Eliminate processes no longer needed.
Identify metrics to measure process performance, and any required process
management/monitoring tool changes – additions, deletions, and or re-configurations.
Notify personnel of changes and provide training as required.
Long-term goals:
Control changes to these processes.
Update technology licensing as
required.
Periodically review processes to ensure they remain current and relevant.
Establish reporting mechanisms identifying what metrics will be presented to leadership as well
as how and how often they will be presented, and who will provide them.
Outline the steps and activities required to introduce cloud-based data storage into
the business.
▪ Virtual infrastructure: During the first step of implementing the cloud, physical
infrastructures are replaced by virtual infrastructures. The activities within the cloud
focus on benefits that can be realised quickly. These include the use of cloud
capacities to provide a basic infrastructure for computing processes and various
types of re-usable applications like databases. The activities include self-service
generation of package for tests, development, training and demonstrations as well
as
fast processing of high-performance workloads and load tests for applications
using virtual machines that are provided on an ad hoc basis.
▪ Flexible data processing centre: The third level of cloud implementation is only
realised in companies that place the highest possible demands on their server
environments. These are mainly companies in the areas of financial services,
energy and online advertising with workloads that rise and fall very quickly and
need to be processed immediately. High scalability applies here not only to the
applications, but also to the entire data processing centre and all of its
components. In nutshell, the process handling is tested at this stage.
Outline the relevant organizational and legislative requirements and how the system
will be implemented in accordance with these.
In determining the cloud service to undertake, organizational leadership must consider
costs, schedule, and performance factors to ensure the services:
• Meet business needs with services that are equal to or better than those previously
provided (e.g., reliable, highly available, resilient, and secure).
• Increase efficiencies, which leads to reduced acquisition, operating, and sustainment
costs (hardware, software, personnel, etc.), allowing savings to be re-allocated to other.
ERP has been considered well for Accounting Support as it fulfils the above organizational
requirements. In addition to these “hard” factors that are definable and measurable,
leadership must take into consideration “soft” factors that bear on the success of the
migration project. Because of the broad, transformational nature of such projects, they can
have a significant impact on the organization and its personnel. For example, they can
change roles, responsibilities, and workplace culture; cause staff disruption and
uncertainty. While these soft factors are not easily defined and measured, they can have a
major adverse impact if not properly managed.

Outline the relevant organisational and legislative requirements and how the system will be
implemented in accordance with these.
Organisational requirements
• All consultants should be able to access the support database with ease
• One Drive for business should allow for multiple logging in at the same time
• Quality IT staff should be readily available
Legislative requirements
The legal team needs to ensure that
• ensure the account includes provisions covering legislation that may impact on
the agreement
• take into account possible differences in similar pieces of legislation such as the privacy act,
legal interpretations and standard contracts.

For the new system to work, all staff should be trained on how to use the system. This will work
best if all employees learn this step by step. For this matter I believe that the Google-Drive will be
the better option, In addition to this they also offer a larger storage space.
was
- Ensure that employees know how to access certain documents, including those that
are for private access.
- Learn to know when more storage is needed and how to make this available.
Budget Plan
The estimated budget to launch the cloud storage of Google Drive is set at $1550.00.
Anna has been excluded from the budget and has been charged with the rate of $50 per hour
for each subject.
==========================================================================
=====
• Open free account on one of the cloud storage which could be Google Drive.
• Copy all the accounting data into it.
• Show them all the functions such as data sharing, data editing and protecting.
Long term
• All the documents must be safe and secure in the cloud store.
• Check if all the documents are accessible.
• Increase the storage capacity if necessary.
The total estimated budget to introduce the cloud storage (google drive) is $1950. It is calculated with the rate
of $50 per hour for Presentation preparation, consultation charge and rent for the meeting room. Anna has
been excluded in the budget.
• Fix the time and place for the meeting on this topic.
• Inform every participant through email.
• Prepare power point presentation with all the relevant information and research on
it to deal with any possible queries.
• Training and regular follow up to help in improvement and accelerate learning
and performance.

Business continuity
Protecting your data and systems is an important part of business continuity planning. Whether you experience a
natural disaster, power failure or other crisis, having your data stored in the cloud ensures it is backed up and
protected in a secure and safe location.
Considered the ultimate business collaboration tool, cloud computing is the answer to centralized systems and
applications. This is not only one of the biggest advantages for efficiently running a growing business but the value
of cloud to secure data, networks and devices begins and ends with centralized control over operations in multiple
locations.
For the changeover to the new administration system, we need the extra budget of $10000.
Outline the steps and activities required to introduce cloud-based data storage into the business
First step: virtual infrastructure
Hardware becomes software: During the first step of implementing the cloud, physical infrastructures are replaced
by virtual infrastructures. In this case, a software layer generates a virtual instance of the hardware. The software
offers an advantage in that it is easier to replace and more easily controllable than the hardware. The technology on
virtualisation is not new, however.
For instance, IBM started offering virtual machine hypervisors as part of its portfolio back in the 1970s. Today, all
major IT manufacturers offer virtualisation or cloud products. The most frequent use of virtualisation involves
installing a program on server consolidation that reduces the number of physical machines. Then, virtualisation is
gradually extended to generate private clouds that offer internal users virtual capacities and applications on request.
Data protection and privacy are often considered key risks when storing personal data in a cloud. The risks to

Cloud computing, often referred to as simply the cloud is the delivery of on-demand computing resources –
everything from applications to data centers – over the internet on a pay-for-use basis.
Elastic resources: Scale up or down quickly and easily to meet changing demand.
Metered services: Pay only for what you use.
Self-service: Find all the IT resources you need, with self-service access.

6. Conduct your cloud-based storage system presentation.
Begin by introducing yourself and the reason for the training session. Tell the participants
that they can ask questions during your presentation or wait until you have finished.
Give the presentation, ensuring that all of your points are understood by all of the participants.
One of the goals of the presentation is to encourage the participants to participate in the cloud-
based data storage implementation process. Do this by asking open-ended questions such as,
asking how they think that the documents should be filed within the account, or if there are any
other features that they feel are important for the cloud-based system.
During the presentation, you are required to demonstrate effective communication skills
including:
Speaking clearly and concisely
Using non-verbal communication to assist with understanding
Asking questions to identify required information
Responding to questions as required
Using active listening techniques to confirm understanding
When you have completed the presentation, ask the attendees if they have any
further questions.
Before concluding the meeting, you are required to observe a staff member working in
the cloud-based storage system. This will ensure that the new system is being
implemented correctly.
Provide the staff member with a laptop or workstation with internet access.
Watch the student enter the Dropbox account that you have created and move at least two files
from one folder to another and then back again.

implemented. Your report should include the following:
An analysis of the staff responses, identifying any issues that they have had with
the system. Any issues highlighted by staff should be treated as contingencies that
may restrict the usefulness of the new system.
Solutions for any contingencies that have arisen. Note that these contingencies
should be dealt with in a way that has minimal impact on the system’s users.
Ways of communicating these solutions to the staff, which should include a
further training session.
Staff 2 This is exactly what I was looking for. Working with lots of file has become
easy for me.
Staff 3 I want to understand about the auto sign off when I am no longer using it to
ensure its safe, if in case I lost my device or forget to sign off.
Staff 4 It’s easy to save and reach the required data. Sharing data with another
employee is also comfortable. I did not have to download and save it.
Staff 5 Send Large Files to Family, Friends or Co-Workers If you happen to use
Gmail, also using Google Drive will allow you to send large files to your
contacts directly from your email account.
Staff 6 Sharing data with another employee is also easy. I did not have to download
and upload separately to communicate the data.
Backup and Sync stopped working- Remove from the folder on your computer and restart Backup
and Sync. Some files can't be synced: Manually sync files. Syncing is stuck
Anna should have access to the main data base as she is the boss of the company. She can modify
or delete the data or file entered by the employee if it’s inappropriate. And there is need of antivirus
software that checks every data before its entered so the server and downloader both are safe.
Communicating Solutions:
Staff requires training from expert professionals for using Google drive. We can conduct seminars
and online workshops for the staff in near future for their training

Communicating solutions
A further training session is scheduled to be held next week, Tuesday 19th November
2019. Prior to this a discussion forum of 15 minutes is to held to communicate the
staff concerns and feedbacks about the new cloud based system. A weekly 10 minute
huddle will be on every Friday at 5:20 p.m. to address any concerns related to
Dropbox to review the performance on regular basis.

Staff 4 Google Drive has its very own built-in search engine, which allows you to
search by file type, such as image, Word document or video, as well as by
keyword. It also allows you to search by owner.
Staff 5 This is exactly what I was looking for. Working with lots of file has become

sheets and Microsoft Word documents.
Backup and Sync stopped working- Remove from the folder on your computer and restart Backup and Sync. Some

Communicating solutions
For implementing the solutions our communication shall include some guidelines:
===============================================================================
Staff 2 Every staff is entering the data into the Google drive storage. Improper file
naming made the staff confused with to get the right file.
Staff 3 Should you need to access any files while on the go, you can download the
Google Drive app to your smartphone. You can use this if you need to give a
presentation or show proof of purchase.
Staff 4 My device is infected with virus. I am scared to use the cloud data storage as I
don’t want to transfer virus into it and affect whole data.
Staff 5 Google Drive’s optical character recognition technology is capable of scanning
through documents saved by other users and finding the word (or name) that
you searched for. It can also be helpful if you’re conducting research on a
historical topic.
Staff 6 I have been using different cloud storage in previous work place. So, I find it
confusing with the same terminologies used for different purposes.

TIME: 10 AM
Good morning all employees. I Manjeet Singh will deliver presentation on cloud computing. You can ask
questions during your presentation or wait until you have finished.
This training session is important because The Demand for Cloud Computing Professionals Will Continue to Grow.
This presentation session will brings all employees to a higher level so they all have similar skills and knowledge.
1. Mention in what ways cloud architecture provide automation and performance transparency?
To provide the performance transparency and automation there are many tools used by cloud architecture. It allows
managing the cloud architecture and monitoring reports. It also allows them to share the application using the cloud
architecture. Automation is the key component of cloud architecture which helps to improve the degree of quality.
2. In cloud computing explain the role of performance cloud?
Performance cloud is useful in transferring maximum amount of data instantly. It is used by the professionals who
work on high performance computing research.
Hybrid cloud: It consists of multiple service providers. It is a combination of public and private cloud features. It is
used by the company when they require both private and public clouds both.
Community Cloud: This model is quite expensive and is used when the organizations having common goals and
requirements, and are ready to share the benefits of the cloud service.
To overcome the maintenance cost and to optimize the resources, there is a concept of three data center in cloud
which provides recovery and back-up in case of disaster or system failure and keeps all the data safe and intact.
It’s a bonus when the provider has a fall-back data center or two. That way, if there’s a problem at the primary data
center (i.e. earthquake, flood, power loss); your services will fail over to a secondary data center with little to no
interruption on your end.
FEEDBACK RECEIVED
You clearly put a lot of work into your slides, I like the way you used pictures and very little text, and I really enjoyed
the topic, you used some interesting vocabulary, next time you could check the collocations with an English
dictionary make your presentation more impactful
=======================================================================================
6. Send an email to all staff (your assessor).
To ensure that
The text of the email should be in grammatically correct English, written in an appropriate
(polite, business-like) style.
The email should summarise the contents of your system usage report, including the
changes that have been made to the data storage system.
