Summary
This case is a supplement to Nintendo: Game on: released in July 2016, Pokémon go is a free
to play and basic idea of this game was to catch Pokémon in the real worlds. It was a location-
based virtual reality mobile game in which players needed to locate and capture virtual
creatures from the Pokémon family. Although it was a revolutionary concept in Nintendo’s
recent history .

Facts
 It is free to play for android and ios.
 The idea of reality location interest people and have motivated players to go from one
place to another place in the search of Pokémon.
 It has received a wide positive response.

Problems
 There have been certain crashes and technical issue.
 This app was criticized for using sensitive location such as cemeteries and memorials as
sites to catch Pokémon’s.
 The level of use, spending and value action has not kept pace, as the number of user of
game has dropped precipitously since as it initial lunch.
 Individuals playing the games may become caught up in the augmented reality and
hurt themselves as they move about physical worlds.
 Players need something new all time and if there is nothing new like at this moment,
the excitement level of Pokémon go might drop.

Solution
Pokémon is doing great and has received a great response as well as critics. In my opinion,
the app might heads towards decline and the developer should take something new and
challenging for Pokémon’s soon. May be a new and a better app that may be a social network
plus to collect the pokemons.This will keep the interest of players and also easier to connect
with friends playing Pokémon’s.

Ans: - There are several reason because of that people were so infatuated towards this game

An: - Augmented reality is component of this game as it displays the fictional character in the
real location using the camera on a mobile device as well as the games software.

3. How is this game an example of social commerce?

An:- During the height of its popularity, many businesses looked for ways to capitalize on the
phenomenon, including potential joint ventures with the company in order to place Pokémon
character to their business locations to generate foot traffic.

4. Why do you think game did not retain its initial popularity?

An:- Because there are many games that comes in the market now which is more better than
this game and people are enjoying to play that game more then Pokémon like PUBG which
become more popular these day. Pokémon didn’t give more attention towards their players
initially .so many of them shouldn’t like to download it again.
