1. Ho do you define SDG#13: Climate Change?

Climate Change means that the usual weather, phenomena, and climate that occue
in a particular place suddenly changes its behavior. There are unusual phenomena
that happens on a particular season which never happens before. For example, here
in the Philippines, we have four types of climate which depends on the geographical
location of the people. some locations usually have two seasons, while other have
either one, or unpronounced season. However, with the climate change happening,
our climates have changes, it became all two types of seasons, wet and dry which
usually run before from July to October for wet, and dry from November to May, but
with the changes, our wet usually starts early like end of May to late June and ends
by either November or December. Also, on other counries, some nations do not
experience snow or tornadoes or hurricanes, but now they experience it. Moreover,
climate change worsens our climate situation in this globe. before everything is
moderate, but now it is intense and destroys our lives and livelihood.

2. What student lead activity can the school do to address SDG#13: Climate Change?

As students, we could lead to lessen the effects of climate change by providing

programs and seminars which would help the environment to keep at leat if not at
all, slow pace the changes. Programs such as clean-up drives, tree-planting activities
will help the soil and water to regenerate their lost nutrients and beauty which in
turn would help the flow of our ecosystem be normal. Seminars such as talks which
would warn and inform people about the effects of people's actions that would result
to climate change. Information drive about climate change would also be applicable
for other to know that this is a serious matter and should be looked always upon.
Disaster resiliency such as drills would help people be prepared in case a calamity
strikes to their locations.
