Precalculus (Agile)

Overview:
This week, you will be introduced to the basics of trigonometry. You will observe the
characteristics, graphs, and di erences between the six trigonometric functions.

At the end of this week, you will be able to:


● Gain knowledge, speci cally in:
○ De ning Trigonometry and related terms
○ Converting special angles
○ De ning the 6 trigonometric functions
○ Evaluating trigonometric function values of special angles
○ Determining the characteristics of trigonometric functions

● Develop skills in:


○ FUNCTIONALITY: Converting special angles and determining Trigonometric
Function values of special angles

Your facilitator will share the links that will be used for the Week 11 synchronous sessions.

Duration:
Six (6) hours
● SYNCHRONOUS SESSION 1 [30 mins]
● ACTIVITY: It’s Hip to be Square! [2 hrs]
● EXERCISE: Trigonometric Functions [2.5 hrs]
● SYNCHRONOUS SESSION 2 [1 hr]

Week 11 Tasks:
1. Attend synchronous sessions.
2. Accomplish the It’s Hip to be Square!.
3. Earn at least 80% score in the exercise.
4. Write down your key takeaways for the week.

Instructions:
ACTIVITY: It’s Hip to be Square! [2 hrs]

ANSWER 1. Prepare the following materials:


- Ruler
- Pen / Marker
- 2 Graphing Papers (if not available, any clean papers will do)
2. You will work in groups of a maximum of 4 members. Your LF will
discuss with you your group assignment.
3. Answer the activity by using this template: ACTIVITY: It’s Hip to be

4. Make a copy and follow this lename format:

5. Share the copy with your LF and with your groupmates.
6. Once you’re done, submit your work in the LMS.
