PR institutions and Municipalities - Permission for filling up of 321 posts in

ORDER:

In the reference 1st read above, the A.P. Treasury Service Employees
Association, Hyderabad has requested the Government for sanction of
additional staff for meeting the additional work load for payment of salaries to
four (4) lakh employees of different Institutions, for the last one year in
Treasuries and Accounts Department. In the reference 2nd read above, the
Director of Treasuries and Accounts has proposed for creation of 867
additional posts in different categories to meet the additional work load in
Treasuries and Accounts Department based on the report of the Centre for
Good Governance (CGG).

2. After careful examination of the request, Government have

accepted for sanction of 50% of posts i.e., initially 321 posts by promotion and
112 posts by direct recruitment (321 + 112 = 433). The details are as follows:-

3. In the reference 3rd read above, Government in Finance (SMPC.I)

Department have accorded sanction for the creation of following (433)
additional posts in various categories to meet the additional work load in
Treasuries and Accounts Department.

4. In the reference 4th read above, the Director of Treasuries and

Accounts, A.P. Hyderabad has requested the Government to accord clearance
for direct recruitment quota i.e., 9- posts of Asst. Treasury Officers, 69 – Posts
of Senior Accountants, 34 – posts of Junior Accountant to the recruiting Agency
ie., A.P. Public Service Commission under Group-I, II & IV services.

5. In the reference 5th read above, Govt. in Finance (SMPC.I)

Department have requested the AP. Public Service Commission to take up
appropriate steps for filling up of (9) posts of Assistant Treasury Officers under
Group-I Services (69) posts of Senior Accountants under Group -II Services and
(34) posts of Junior Accountant under Group -IV services (9 +69 +34 =112) in
Treasuries and Accounts Department by Direct Recruitment.

6. In the reference 6th read above, the Director of Treasuries and

Accounts, A.P. Hyderabad has furnished break up particulars for allotment of
total posts as per work load.

7. Government after careful examination of the matter hereby order

for allocation of all the posts including direct recruitment posts (9 +69 +34
=112) in different places in different Treasury Offices in the State and also
accord permission to DTA for filling up of promotion posts i.e., 1- Additional
Director, 14- Assistant Directors, 18- Assistant Treasury Officers, 45 – Sub
Treasury Officers, 162- Senior Accountants and 81- Junior Accountants ( 1+ 14
+ 18 + 45 + 162+ 81 = 321). The allocation of posts is annexed to this order.

8. The Director of Treasuries and Accounts, A.P. Hyderabad shall

take further necessary action for allocation of Senior Accountants and Junior
Accountants in each District keeping in view the work load.
