In the reference 1st cited, the Secretary, FC Division, Department of Expr., Ministry
of Finance, Gol was requested to extend the time imit upto 31-03-2022 to enable utilization
of funds sanctioned under 14th FC Grants available with Local Bodies in Andhra Pradesh
State.

2. In the reference 2nd cited, the DTA has requested the clarification to pass the bills of
ULBs under 14th FC beyond FY 2020-21. Accordingly, the MA&UD Dept. and the
Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration were requested to pursue with the
Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Gol to expedite to get the orders for extension of
time limit upto 31-03-2022 for utilization of 14th FC Grants in respect of ULBs vide
reference 3rd cited.

3. In reference 4th cited(copy enclosed), the Dept. of Expr.(DOE), MoF, GOI has
concurred the proposal for extension of time limit upto 31-03-2022 to enable the utilisation
of funds sanctioned under 14th FC(FFC) grants available with the ULBs in AP state, as a one
time dispensation for incurring expenditure out of FFC grants by the ULBs beyond FY 2020-
21 and upto 31st March 2022. However, the ULBs should utilize the unspent amount of the
FFC Grants in conformity with the extant guidelines issued by the DOE for the utilization of
the FFC grant.
