Sauer Danfoss Plus One Joystick Recalibration

The spooling, steering, and brake handles used on the Plus One system are calibrated at
Eclipse Wireline during the electro/hydraulic setup of your E-line or Slickline truck. At
some point during the life of the vehicle, the batteries will need to be disconnected for
repair procedures and/or replacement. After reconnection of the batteries the Plus One
joysticks will need to recalibrated to operate. The procedure is as follows:

1-For safety, TURN THE TRUCK ENGINE OFF, turn the System Power on.
2-Press the down arrow button on the video screen and the device faults will be indicated
by the red boxes.
3-Starting with the IN/OUT joystick, Engage the stick forward fully for 6 seconds, then
in one sweep, go past neutral to the fully rearward position and hold for 6 seconds, then
return to the center/neutral position. Check the screen to make sure the faults have been
removed for that joystick.
4-The steering joystick is the same procedure, start by moving the handle all the way to
the left, hold for 6 seconds, sweep all the way to the right, hold for 6 seconds, and back to
the center/neutral position. Check the screen for faults.
5-The brake joystick is half the procedure, fully engage for 6 seconds, then release.
Check the screen for faults.
At this point all of the fault codes should be removed. If not, repeat the procedure for the
applicable joystick. When all of the fault codes are removed, Press the Plus One reset
button on the side of the console, hold for 3 seconds and release. At this point the system
has been reset and will be operational.
