1. If you are an administrator, what mechanism you will implement to sustain the financial condition
of your school during this pandemic period? 

If I am an administrator, the mechanism that I will implement to sustain the financial condition of my
school during this pandemic period is by maximizing and allocating the school’s MOOE to the needed
resources to cope with the current pandemic situation. Careful and proper re-alignment of priorities like
the need of PPE’s, basic health protocols materials, and school supplies for printing of modules should
be considered in the allocation of finances. Of course, part of the sustainment of the school’s financial
condition is the transparency and honesty in every transaction made for the greater good and benefit of
the school community. It is also better to ask for assistance from the LGU to provide the needed
resources in case of fund inadequacy. Proper budget allocation and careful planning play a vital role in
the achievement of great fiscal management in this time of pandemic.

2. Do you think the salary and fringe benefits of are one of the motivation factors to improve our
education system? Explain your answer. 

Yes, I think that salary and fringe benefits are one of the motivation factors to improve our education
system. This idea is just like how we give praise and feedback to our students for them to feel motivated
in our class discussion. Same goes with teachers, with proper salary range and best fringe benefits,
teachers could feel motivated and making them do their very best in every academic undertaking that
will surely benefit the education system. This salary increase has been an issue since Philippines has the
lowest salary range for teachers among Asian countries. If this will be addressed and given immediate
budget allocation, there is no question if our education system will improve and sustain quality. These
motivation factors play an important role in the performance level of teachers just like any other
government or private employees.

3. If you will retire today (government employees), which retirement package from GSIS you will
choose and why?

If I will retire today as a government employee, the retirement package from GSIS that I will choose is
the lump sum payment which is payable at the time of retirement plus an old-age pension benefit that is
equal to the basic monthly pension payable monthly for life. I will use this fund to start my own business
and take some of it as savings for future use. I will also use this money to help my two brothers finish
their college studies and also to continually support my parents financially. It is my simple way of giving
back for their hardwork and love given to us since birth. This package will surely be beneficial to me and
my family.
