Environmental Performance Assessment (EPA)
• Procedure SAEP-32, Environmental Performance Assessment Program
• The objectives of the EPA Program are to:
 Conduct periodic environmental surveys of facilities to determine compliance with Company
and government environmental standard
 Provide facility managers with an evaluation of the environmental performance of their
facilities
 Provide management with the information needed to make environmental improvements in a
timely and cost-effective manner
 The EPA Program consists of four basic elements:
 Pre-survey familiarization and acquisition of pertinent documents
 Site survey of individual facilities to assess environmental performance
 Interactive follow-up to solve problems
 Tracking recommendations to ensure their implementation and compliance

Occupational Health Hazard Assessment (OHHA)
• GI 150.001, Industrial Hygiene And Occupational Health Aspects Of Environmental
Protection Policy
• The objectives of the OHHA Program are to:
 Protect the health of employees from potential adverse effects of work activities
 Assess the level of compliance of Saudi Aramco facilities with occupational health
performance standards
 Identify and evaluate existing and potential work occupational health hazards to include
chemical, physical and biological stressors in the environment which may cause sickness or
impaired health
 Provide a comprehensive report to facility management on the status of the OHHA
performance
 Provide follow-up assessments to identify and assess changes in process, work procedures or
chemical handling

Comprehensive Environmental Health Assessment (CEHA)
• GI 151.006, Implementing the Saudi Aramco Environmental Health Code, as well as other
applicable environmental health standards.
• The objectives of the CEHA Program are to:
 Assess the level of compliance of Saudi Aramco facilities with environmental health
performance standards
 Identify and evaluate existing and potential environmental health hazards, including
chemical, physical and biological agents that may cause sickness, impaired health and
significant environmental health noncompliance issues in facilities that employees, families or
visitors depend upon to provide safe occupancies, food, water, air, etc.
 Monitor food and water supplies to detect impaired quality
 Ensure that areas of noncompliance from previous CEHAs have been properly resolved
 Provide a comprehensive report to the proponent department on conditions related to
environmental health at its facilities
 Conduct follow-up CEHA's to identify and assess changes in facility operations and conditions

Radiation Protection Assessments (RPA)

• The RPA was developed to monitor and asses the compliance of users of ionizing
radiation sources and those facilities impacted by NORM.
The objectives of the RPA are to:
 Assess radiation protection performance of Saudi Aramco operating organizations
 Identify significant radiation protection compliance issues
 Provide annual reports to corporate management on the status of the RPA
 Track findings and ensure they are appropriately resolved
 Improve radiation protection performance

• The objectives of the EMS Program are to:
 Provide facilities with a tool to get them from a reactive compliance-based mode to a more
proactive performance based approach
 Build the environmental capacity of the plant personnel using the EMS as a systematic
framework where each plant is leading their own environmental performance
 Develop and maintain the Company Environmental Management System framework
 Review and approve EMS planning documentation
 Conduct periodic implementation assessments of department EMS to verify:

 Promote an increased sense of environmental stewardship
 Provide a means to recognize and reward organizations with outstanding environmental

2. A list of all 2018 Environmental Events/Campaigns. Table (1)
3. A list of all 2018 EC Training Hours. (Table 2)
