UPDATE Issue 2: Tuesday 29th March

Hello ACTIV-8ers!
We’ve lost 42 stone and 1.5 pounds in two weeks. Our overall target is 100 stone! We’ll get there!
Remember if you put weight on, then that is taken away from what everyone else losses that week so go
easy! Healthy weight loss is 1 – 2lb per person per week at best. If we all achieved that, we’ll be flying!

Just a reminder to all – if you are bringing a friend or two to any ACTIV-8 activities, don’t worry about
giving the activity leader money that day – just throw an extra pound or two in the pot at the next
weigh in! £7 per week represents serious value for money when you consider the range and amount of
activities on offer – not one person is getting paid for the programme so ALL money raised goes
directly towards the club - it is much appreciated and very useful!

team spirit we want to see! The men in the pink team will be
able to wear pink and have an excuse for it at least!

On Sunday 3rd April at 5.30pm, we’re hosting a Team Challenge day to mark the half way point. We need
ALL team members to make the effort to attend for the two hours and we ask all members to wear their

Teams can split the workload, i.e. one person might run 8 laps, while another walks 4 laps and a
