Product Name Dulux Skim Coat (Interior)

Description and Usage Dulux Skim Coat (Interior) is a cementitious filler specially formulated for
easy smoothing of uneven surfaces.

Theoretical Coverage The spreading capacity of this product will vary considerably according to the
roughness and porosity of the surface. On smooth surfaces of average
porosity

1-1.2m /kg/2 coats for standard thickness 1mm/coat.

Application By Trowel

Dilution Mixing 1 part of water to 2.5 parts of material by weight.

Put water first, then pour in the putty slowly.
Use a mixer (if available) or appropriate mixing equipment to mix until getting
homogenous mixture which is then ready for use.

 Surfaces must be sound, clean, dry and free from all defective or poorly
adhering material, dirt, grease or wax.
 Remove all loose or defective paint or powdery residues by thorough
brushing and scraping, using a stiff fiber brush and high pressure water
jet.
 Treat any areas affected mould, lichens, algae and moss with fungicidal
Treatment (Dulux Fungicidal Wash).
 Repair any surface defects with an appropriate material.
Surface Preparation  Surfaces that remain powdery, friable or chalky after thorough
preparation should be sealed with one coat of an appropriate Sealer
(Please refer to one of our sales representatives for more information).
Note:
 Do not apply Dulux Skim Coat on surface which has temperature over
o
40 C.
 In case the wall is too dry/absorbent, the surface must be wet and
reduced the surface temperature by wet roller rolling or water spraying
method before putty application.

Cleaning Up Clean all equipment with clean water immediately after use.

Usage & Storage  Store in a cool and shaded place.

 To avoid contact with the floor, putty must be placed on wooden shelves
with minimum distance of 10cm from floor.
 Avoid direct sunlight.
 Close the pack tightly during storage and usage.
 Use immediately after opening.
