Disassembly

Chapter 1, Removing the Battery Pack

To remove the battery pack from the battery bay,


follow the steps below:

1. Turn the notebook upside down.


2. Slide the battery lock in the direction of the
arrow to unlock the battery pack

3. Slide the battery release latch in the direction


of the arrow. The battery pack wills pop-up
automatically. Gently pry the battery pack
from its housing

NOTE: Always start laptop disassembly by


removing the battery pack first.

Chapter 2, Removing Hard disk

To remove the bottom cover, follow the steps below:

1. Remove the nine screws securing the bottom


cover as show

2. Open the Bottom case from righ side.

3. Remove the hard drive by pull up the clip

4. Remove the four screw to release the


harddisk from the harddisk case

Warning: Be care full pull the hard disk


drive can cause permanent damage for the clip.

Chapter 3, Removing Memory (RAM) Module

To remove the Memory module, follow the steps


below:

1. Remove the two screws securing the bottom


cover as show

2. Remove the memory memory case as show

3. Push the latches to release the RAM module.


A spring will force one end of the module up

4. Grasp the memory module and remove from


main board.

Chapter 4, Removing the Keyboard

To remove the keyboard, follow the steps below:

1. Turn the notebook over and push the latches


to release the keyboard

2. Pull the keyboard towards you, revealing the


keyboard cable underneath

3. lever up with thumb the connector bracket


and disconnect the keyboard cable from the
motherboard

4. Lift off the cable and remove the keyboard

Chapter 5, Removing Keyboard Frame

To remove the Keyboard frame, first remove the


battery pack. Follow the steps below to remove the
Keyboard frame.

1. Turn the notebook upside down.

2. Remove the six screw as show.

3. Turn the notebook over

4. Remove the five screws securing the Logic


upper to the logic lower.

5. lever up with thumb the connector bracket


and disconnect the Touchpad and speaker
cable from the motherboard

6. Gently remove the Keyboard frame from


front to the rear

Warning: Be care full Lift off the keyboard frame


can cause permanent damage for the lower logic.

NOTE: The touchpad module is attached to the rear of the logic upper and cannot be removed.

Chapter 6, Removing the Speaker

To remove the battery pack from the battery bay,


follow the steps below:

1. Remove the speaker from the logic upper as


show.

4. Remove the speaker cable as show

CAUTION: When you remove the speaker


module Reapply fresh Isolation double tape
before reinstalling the speaker module.

Chapter 7, Removing LCD Module

To remove the LCD module, first remove the battery


pack, keyboard frame. Follow the steps below to
remove the LCD module.

1. Remove the isolation tape.

Warning: Be care full Lift off the LCD module


can cause permanent damage for the upper logic
and please intention for key as show below

2. Disconnect the LVDS, Webcam, processor


Fan and Athena Wifi cable from the
mainboard and Wifi module.

3. Remove the four screws securing LCD


module to the logic lower

4. Gently remove the LCD Module.

5. Remove the six screw pads as shown

6. Remove the six screws securing the LCD


bezel to the LCD module

7. Carefully insert your fingers between the


display and the LCD bezel as indicated by
the arrow, and gently pry up the LCD bezel.

Warning: Be care full Lift off the LCD module


hinge easy to lose please intention for the hinge
as show

8. Remove the four screws mounting the


display.

9. Gently lift out the display. Remove the four


screws securing the hinges to the display.

10. Remove the isolation tape and disconnect the


LVDS cable from the back of the LCD

Chapter 8, Removing Webcam Module

To remove the camera module, first remove the


LCD module and lift out LCD display and inverter
board. Then follow these steps:

1. Disconnect the CMOS cable from the CMOS


module as shown.

2. Lift off the webcam

Chapter 9, Removing the Main Board

To remove the main board, first remove the battery


pack, HDD, memory module, keyboard, logic upper.
Follow the steps below to remove the mainboard.

1. Remove the Microphone cable from mainboard.

2. Remove the mainboard from left side to the ringh


side.

Chapter 10, Removing the Wireless LAN Module

To remove the Wireless LAN Module, follow the


steps below:

1. Turn over the mainboard

2. Disconnect the two antennas from the


wireless LAN card

3. Remove the two screws securing the


Wireless LAN Module

3. Grasp the RAM module and pull it out.

CAUTION: Do not touch the connectors on the


wireless LAN card or on the computer. Debris on the
connectors may cause the unit to malfunction.

Chapter 11, Removing the Processor Fan

To remove the Processor Fan, follow the steps


below:

1. Remove the two screws securing the


Processor Fan

2. Disconnect the two antennas from the


wireless LAN card

3. Lift off the Processor Fan

Assembly

Chapter 11, Assembly the Processor Fan

To assembly the Processor Fan, follow the steps


below:

1. Install the Processor fan to the logic lower

2. Tight the two screws securing the Processor

Chapter 18, Installing the Wireless LAN Module

For installing Wireless LAN module, follow this


step,

1. Push Wireless LAN at 30’ form main board


and push down the wireless then tight the
screw

2. Connect the antenna cable, Black cable to


main and Gray cable to aux and install

3. Install the isolation tape to the wireless LAN


cable

Chapter 9, Assembly the Main Board

To assembly the main board, Follow the steps below


to assembly the mainboard.

1. Assembly the mainboard from right side to


the left side.

NOTE: Please attention for Wifi and Processor


fan Cable must be in correct position as show.

2. Connect the Microphone cable to mainboard.

Chapter 8, Assembly Webcam Module

To assembly the camera module, Then follow these


steps:

1. Lift in the webcam

2. Connect the CMOS cable to the CMOS


module as shown.

Chapter 7, Assembly LCD Module

To assembly the LCD module, Follow the steps


below to remove the LCD module;

1. Connect the LVDS cable from the back of the


LCD and install the isolation tape

2. Tight the four screws securing the hinges to


the display.

3. Gently lift in the display

4. Tight the four screws mounting the display.

5. Gently pry down the LCD bezel

6. Tight the six screws securing the LCD bezel


to the LCD module

7. Install the six screw pads as shown

8. Gently install the LCD Module.

9. Tight the four screws securing LCD module


to the logic lower

10. Connect the LVDS, Webcam, processor Fan


and Athena Wifi cable to the mainboard and
Wifi module.

2. Install the isolation tape.

Chapter 6, Assembly the Speaker

To assembly the battery pack from the battery bay,


follow the steps below:

1. Install the speaker to the logic upper as


show.

2. Install speaker cable as show

Chapter 5, Assembly Removing Keyboard Frame

To assembly the Keyboard frame, Follow the steps


below to remove the Keyboard frame

1. Tight the five screws securing the Logic


upper to the logic lower.

2. Connect the Touchpad and speaker cable to


the motherboard

3. Turn the notebook upside down.

4. Tight the six screw as show.

Chapter 4, Assembly the Keyboard

To Assembly the keyboard, follow the steps below:

1. Connect the keyboard cable from the


motherboard and lever down with thumb the
connector bracket

2. Push the keyboard until the latches at


position lock as show

Note: Please insert the lower part of keyboard


first before the upper part because there is pin at
lower part of keyboard as show above

Chapter 16, Installing Memory (RAM) Module

For installing Memory module, follow this step,

1. Turn the notebook upside down.

2. Push memory at 30’ form main board

3. Push down until the Key at position lock

4. Key at Lock position, if the installation


corrects the pin will be invisible, the key will
show as picture.

5. Close the Bottom case from down side to the


upper side.

6. Tight the two screws securing bottom case to


the logic lower.

Chapter 2, Removing Hard disk

To assembly the bottom cover, follow the steps


below:

1. Tight the four screw securing the harddisk to


the harddisk case

2. Install the hard drive by push down the clip

Warning: Be care full Push the hard disk


drive can cause permanent damage for the clip.

3. Close the Bottom case from left side.

4. Tight the nine screws securing the bottom


cover as show

Chapter 20, Installing the Battery Pack

To Installing the battery pack to the battery bay,


follow the steps below:

1. Slide the battery lock latch in the direction of


the arrow. The battery lock wills pop-up
automatically.

2. Lock the second key for more safety
