சொல்லிதயா அந்த வியாதிமய குணப்படுத்த முடியாது. நம் உடலில் ஏற்படும்
அமனத்து தநாய்களுக்கும் நைது தவறான வாழ்க்மகமுமற தான் காரணம் என்பதத
ஆராய்ச்சியின் முடிவாகும். எனதவ நைது வாழ்க்மக முமறயில் சில எளிய
ைாற்றங்கமை சகாண்டுவருவதன் மூலைாகதவ இத்தமகய தநாய்கமை /
உபத்திரவங்கமை நிரந்தரைாக குணப்படுத்த முடியும்.

பத்தியம் இருக்கச் சொன்னாதலா தநாயாளிக்கு அந்த வியாதி சைன்தைலும்
தீவிரைமடயும் வாய்ப்பு அதிகைாக உள்ைது. அப்படி சகாடுக்கப்படும் ஆங்கில
ைருந்துகைால் பலவிதைான பக்கவிமைவுகளும் எதிர்ைமற விமைவுகளும், சில

“Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, 1945, 1995, ‘Schedule J’ contains a list of
51 disease and ailments (by whatever name described) which a drug may not
purport to prevent or cure or make claims to prevent or cure”

‘ைருந்துகள் ைற்றும் அேகு ொதனங்கள் ெட்டம்’ 1940 ல் இயற்றப்பட்டு

பின்னர் 1945, 1995 ல் திருத்தியமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ைது. இந்த ெட்டத்தில் செட்யூல்
- ‘J’ என்ற பிரிவின் கீழ் 51 வமக ஆங்கில ைருத்துவத்தின் வியாதிகள்
எழுதப்பட்டுள்ைன. இந்த வியாதிகள் ஆங்கில ைருத்துவத்தின் ைருந்துகமைக் சகாண்டு
குணப்படுத்த முடியும்!’ என்தறா, ‘ைருந்துகமைக் சகாண்டு குணப்படுத்திக்

Rule 106

Diseases which a drug may not purport to prevent or cure.

(1) No drug may purport or claim to prevent or cure or may convey to the intending user
thereof any idea that it may prevent or cure one or more of the diseases or ailments
specified in Schedule J.

(2) No drug may purport or claim to procure or assist to procure, or may convey to the
intending user thereof any idea that it may procure or assist to procure, miscarriage in
women.
