1 year. It's been 1 year since I moved from

Memphis to Colorado Springs. This last month
has been full of reflection and processing all that
has happened in the past year - from
graduation, moving across the country, working
in youth ministry, working as a nurse, and
everything else in between. There was a lot in
between with lots of emotions and lots of having
to trust the Lord's path for me is far better than
my own. And to add in some more change, at
the beginning of June, I officially joined the
Reformed University Fellowship team at the US
Air Force Academy! Go Falcons!

Meet Stewart, my co-intern at USAFA

I kicked off my time as an RUF intern at orientation

up in Westminster, CO the first week of June. After
nursing 3 nights in a row, being at training for a
week, and then returning back to CO Springs to work
the following 2 nights, it's an understatement to say
that I was tired and drained. My introvertedness
desperately yearned for home and quietness. I can
already tell that this season is going to stretch me to
my limits more than I was expecting, but it will also
be a season of learning - learning my limits, learning
new jobs, and learning my God. I know I cannot do
this alone, and I am so incredibly thankful for the
amazing people and communities God has provided
for me.

Support Raising
As a part-time intern, I have to raise $16,333 per year.
Most of this money goes towards ministry expenses
such as conferences, orientation (like the one I had
this past month), literature for personal development
and for books for the cadets. The other portion is
given to me as a part-time salary. Joining my team at
$10/month allows me to grab coffee with 2 students
that month and hear their stories. $50/month could be
the cost of gas for a trip into the mountains to hike (or
snowboard in the winter) with students. If you'd like to
join this mission to spread the gospel to the cadets at
USAFA, you can visit https://www.givetoruf.org/ or
