ANNEXURE – A

Hostel Rules:
 Students arriving from different locations to stay in hostel should quarantine
themselves for a period of 14 days outside the college hostel before they are
allowed to stay in the hostel and they should produce proof of the quarantine.
 Students to produce proof of arrival to Bangalore.
 Students should produce RTPCR Covid-19 negative report before entering the
campus/Hostel.
 Students will not be allowed to go out of the hostel for shopping or meeting their
friends/relatives. However all requirements may be ordered online or it can be
requested to hostel warden.
 Offline/social distancing must be maintained all the times in hostels.
 Double sharing of hostel rooms is not encouraged.
 Gathering of members inside the hostel for any group activity is prohibited.
 Hostel students are prohibited from going out of the campus.
 Those who want to stay out of the college hostel should produce proof of their
stay along with parents consent letter for the same.
 Initial preference for calling students to join back hostels will be given to students
who do not have any support at home and also no facility for on-line education.
 Students of higher classes may be called first as per accommodation facility of
the college.
 Screening of every boarder will be done before they start staying at the hostel.
Only boarders with COVID-19 negative reports will be allowed to join.
 Since students may be coming from different locations by using public transports
such as buses, trains, flights etc., it is important that they should minimize their
contact and interaction with others on arrival at the quarantine
centre/accommodation, and effectively, maintain 14 days quarantine as per
Government requirement. Their health status will be monitored during the period.
 Hostel will be out of bound for all persons except essential staff with known
health status.
 Visiting medical team may inspect kitchen and hostel rooms at least once a week
to ensure maintenance of hygiene.
 College Canteen will be kept closed until further Government orders. However
food can be procured from outside or food may be prepared by the students in the
hostel kitchen.
 Group activities such as celebration of birthdays, parties or any other group
activities inside the hostel premises or within the campus premises is strictly
prohibited.
