ACCEPTABLE MANUFACTURER
SECTION PRODUCT
/ COUNTRY OF ORIGIN
NOTES to APPROVED MEP MANUFACTURER'S LIST
A. All products submitted shall be from the listed approved manufacturers and fully compliant with the specifications and
fully certified/approved by the Local Authorities.
B. Country of Origin: the products, systems, and applications including but not limited to software could be from any
manufacturer in the North American countries, European countries, Japan, Korea and/or from any well established local
and regional manufacturers/ manufacturing facilities in the UAE, MENA, China, India, Asian contries.
C. The Client and the Engineer may accept products of manufacturers from other places and countries if proved that the
material/equipment is of equal or better quality than specified.

STANDARD PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION AND APPROVAL OF MATERIALS

1) Approved MEP Manufacturers List
All materials supplied under this contract shall be manufactured to a standard set down by the listed manufacturers.
All equipment used in the projects shall have an Authorized Distributor well established in the U.A.E.
The Authorized Distributor shall maintain adequate stocks of materials, spare parts and shall provide any required quality
certificates, Authorities approval certificates, certificate of origin/ bill of landing for all materials.
2) Standard Procedure for Submission and Approval of Materials
The Contract Documents standard procedure shall be followed, which can be summarized as follow:
2.1. Selection of manufacturer should be from the approved list of manufacturers
2.2. Selection of other manufacturers not listed in the Contract Documents list could be considered subject that
clarification/confirmation/apology letter by the listed manufacturers is submitted as evidence
2.3. Proposed manufacturers Pre-qualification should be approved by the Engineer
2.4. Proposed manufacturers should be committed to Project Master Programme Schedule
2.5. Material Specifications are as per Contract Documents
2.6. Substantial cost savings in favour of the Client should be submitted in case of any deviations and based on justifiable
breakdown facts

The above procedure requirements to be complied prior material submittal for evaluation and approval process.
