ACCOUNTABILITIES

Leading a team of 18 Technicians & Operators to support the safe delivery of approx. 40,000 bopd
Monitoring and controlling all oil and gas production and utility systems to ensure that production targets
are achieved
Acting as Offshore Emergency Response Team Member in the event of an incident to ensure minimal
harm to personnel, environment (including Oil Spill Response) and asset
Contributing to the development and review of all risk assessments to ensure that hazards have been
identified, adequate mitigations are in place and risk has been reduced to ALARP

ACTIVITIES

Ensure safe delivery of core business through active management of production tasks and core operational
activities while also integrating the execution of Campaign and Project activities
Act as the Permit Controller to ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with the Permit to Work
process and company requirements
Act as an Isolating and Inhibit Authority to ensure that all isolations are designed, implemented, removed
and managed as per Company Policy and Industry Best Practice
Provide the OTL with analysis and comment on production volumes, opportunities and risks in order to
improve business performance and reduce risk
Verify and issue all Permit to Work packs to ensure all hazards have been identified, risks have been
mitigated and there are no conflicting activities
Participate in the Daily Permit Meeting to ensure strict compliance with company requirements and safe
execution of all platform work activities
Provide visible leadership, direction, coaching and support to team members to ensure production targets
are met and production / reinjection volumes are maximized
Motivate and inspire staff in the execution of their responsibilities to drive a performance culture and
encourage innovative thinking around process safety and production optimization
Perform internal audits of risk management systems to drive compliance and continuous improvements
Support the OTL in the implementation of relevant company policies, standards and processes to ensure
employee safety and comply with legislative requirements
Represent NOC appropriately and in accordance with code of ethics when interfacing with internal and
external stakeholders
Promote NOC core values by being a safety role model, showing trust, respect and commitment, fostering
collaboration across the organization
Promote cost consciousness across entire network of stakeholders in order to embed a strong cost culture

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

The Production Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and controlling all oil and gas production and utility
systems to ensure that daily production targets are achieved. The production supervisor supports the OTL in all
matters related to managing the day to day priorities and ensuring safe delivery of business priorities.
Site B is located approximately 80km NE of Qatar in the Arabian Gulf in an offshore environment with imposing
limitations to work delivery.
The position is offshore based – on a rotational scheme

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Education: Bachelor of Science in any Engineering field or equivalent
Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in O&G production operations

Highly motivated, flexible in approach and with a proactive mindset

Certifications:
Health & Industrial Hygiene
Basic Cause Tree Analysis
Basic Firefighting
Oil Spill Principles and Management Level 1

All staff must be willing to participate in crisis response training and to assist during emergency response
situations if required
