To Whom it May Concern:

The fifteen power words project had made me learn more about the text that I
was reading, which is, “The Story of Music: Musical Instruments and
Technology”. The first part of the book was about the history of music, and
musical instruments. Near the end of it, technology had a part in the music
history, and still is nowadays.

The fifteen power words are listed in this order: analyze, summarize, trace,
evaluate, infer, describe, visualize, predict, explain, support, compare,
contrast, advise, elaborate, and formulate. As I did all of those things while
reading the book, I could comprehend the book more than before I started this
project. To analyze my book, I had to make an outline for my text. It took me
a few days to accomplish it, and put it in my website and scribd, but I still did
it.

To evaluate my book, I had to make a story using my outline. Sometimes, I

have a creative imagination, so it didn’t take me that long to finish the story.
To trace my text, I had to create a timeline video. Now that was absolutely
tough to do; creating it and putting it on my website. To evaluate the text, I
had to make a book review for it. I got the document from my teacher’s blog,
and created the review.

To infer my text, I had to create a comic strip for my book. I got the link from
my teacher’s blog, entered, the amount of templates I wanted to use, and
started making it. To describe nad visualize, I had to make three graffiti
pictures about three things in my text. First I had to draw them, and then
explain their purpose in the book. To predict my text, I had to make an
Anticipation Guide. I got the document from my teacher’s blog, and filled in
the information from my text.
To explain and support my text, I had to create this letter that I am making
right now, and explain what I have done during this project. So far, this letter
is turning out fabulous. To compare and contrast, I had to go on a website,
and make a map like document, and compare and contrast the last project I
did, and the one I am doing now. I had to list the similarities and differences
between the two of them.

To advise and elaborate my text, I had to create a ‘Do and Don’t’ letter for
grade students that are lower than me and my class. I informed in the letter
about the deadlines and requirements to pass this class and etc. And last but
not least, to formulate my text, I had to complete my website, which means
that all of the stuff that I am required to do, I had to upload it on my website,
and make it look neat. This is the last step of the project, and I am determined
to get it finished either today or tomorrow.

Thank you for taking your time to read this message.

Yours sincerely as always,
