Good day!

This is Kathleen D. Ilagan, a licensed professional teacher, with a burning passion to share

my knowledge and experiences, I want to apply for the position of Teacher I  in your
institution. My resume is enclosed for your review. Given my related experience and ample
capabilities I would appreciate your consideration for this job.

I completed my Bachelor of Secondary Education degree in 2018 and was hired as a Senior
high school teacher in  First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities, an institution that
provides quality education and is known for being globally competitive. I stayed at the
institution for 2 years and ended my term with a grateful heart.

I have experience teaching senior high school students of different levels for 2 years. Given
this experience, I can confidently say that I understand how the system works in the state
schools and I can do the duties and the responsibilities of a public school teacher.

Before graduating college, I was able to participate and join different clubs and
organizations such as Arts, and Newspaper club as an editorial cartoonist,  where I got the
chance to practice my creativity and academic skills, being involved in different fields of arts
helps me to become more bold and imaginative.

With the desire to train  and expose myself early to the challenges of being an educator,
when I was just a scholar of our municipality,  I’m also having a free tutorial during
weekends to the kids in our barangay. Teaching young minds helped me to become who I
am today.

Believing that teachers should engage themselves in a life-long learning, during the trying
times, I have decided to start taking online courses like Teaching English as a
Second/Foreign Language to improve my communication skills also to hone my skills in
organizing events and different school programs I also took different Technical Vocational
courses like Events Management NC III and Bread and Pastry Production NC II to enhance
my baking skills.

Experience has taught me how to build strong relationships with any departments at an
organization. I have the ability to work within a team as well as cross-team. I believe that
your school would give me the opportunity to learn more things in my chosen field and that
it would hone my teaching skills further.
