DASSAULT FALCON 7X
The Dassault Falcon 7X is a large-cabin, 5,950 nautical miles range business jet manufactured by
Dassault Aviation, the second largest of its Dassault Falcon line. Launched at 2001 Paris Air Show, its first
flight was on 5 May 2005 and it entered service on 15 June 2007.
The air conditioning system generates, regulates and distribute conditioned air in pressurized areas like
cockpit, cabin and nose compartment. The ECS or Environmental Control System supplies this cold air to
the cockpit and it also reduce fuel consumption during cruise. It has an automatic and manual mode so
that the crew members can control the air conditioning valve.
CONTROLS
The hot bleed air is cooled by the main pack or emergency pack depending on the ECS mode of
operation.
Environmental Control System (ECS) can operate in 5 modes these are the: NORMAL, PAX OFF,
CREW OFF, BACK UP and EMERG MODE.
And in EMERG MODE, Hot bleed is cooled by emergency pack and the system is managed by
AMSEC.
The Main Pack comprises the following main components.
The emergency pack consist of an emergency heat exchanger that is used to provide sufficient cold air
flow in case of failure of main pack.
