◼ Ministry of Transport and Communications: Procurement of Goods
1. The Government of Myanmar has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Ayeyarwady
Integrated River Basin Management (AIRBM) Project.
2. The implementing partner - Ministry of Transport and Communications, Directorate of Water Resources and
Improvement of River Systems (DWIR), AIRBM Project, Project Management Unit (PMU) intends to apply part

of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply and Installation of river level monitoring
stage boards: Upgrades of 71 Hydrological Stations of Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH),
thus now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders.
3. To be considered eligible and qualified, a firm or individual must -
a. Have completed within the last 3 years at least one contract of a similar kind of work (culverts and/ or
small scales bridges and/ or minor works on river banks (the contract value must be at least 25% of the
value of the bid;
b. Not be under any notice of disbarment issued by the Government, or the World Bank;
c. Have valid company registration certificate;
d. The Goods will be delivered to 71 places as indicated in Bidding Document under Table 4.3: List of Final
Destination.
4. Bidding will be conducted through the Shopping Procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guideline: Pro-
curement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World
Bank Borrowers dated January 2011 (revised July 2014) (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible
bidders as defined in the Procurement guidelines.

2. The Department of Urban & Housing Development under the Ministry of Construction (“the Purchase”) invites
sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the purchase of solid waste vehicles for delivery in Yangon and Mandalay
(“the Goods”).
3. National Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s single stage-one envelope procedure
and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
4. Interested bidders must have specific experience and capabilities as follow:
• Financial Situation: Minimum average annual turnover of MMK 415 million, calculated as total certified pay-
ments received for contracts in progress or completed within the last 3 years.
• Contractual Experience: Successful completion as main supplier of similar equipment within the last 3 years
of at least 1 contract with value at least MMK 166 million.
5. Bidding documents in English can be purchased from the address above on payment of a non-refundable fee of
15,000 MMK.
6. Deliver your bid to the address above on or before the deadline as specified above together with a Bid Security
as described in the Bidding Document. Bids will be opened immediately after the deadline for bid submission in
the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.
