BACKGROUND INFORMATION
OBJECTIVES
To encourage total use of LLINs
To find the baseline information pertaining to knowledge attitudes
and practices related to LLINs
To institute corrective measures in case of deviations and return the
programme to course
METHODOLOGY
Random sampling of 20% of the households in which mass distribution
was carried out.. observation and a questionnaire were the data
collecting methods of choice.
A total of 138 households were sampled
HYPOTHESIS
H0: the programme was successful
H1 : the programme was not successful

The assessment had major parameters that measure the success of the
programme, the extent of knowledge dissemination and the practices
there of.

To effectively find out if the programme was successful in this regard the
CHI Square test will be used.
Hence we can safely conclude that the programme was successful and
we have though to work forward to improve and reduce the difference
between the expected values and the actual values by which malaria
incidence will be reduced.
