EXECUTIVE ORDER NO.

01- 2021
AN ORDER DESIGNATING PORTION OF MADRID BOULEVARD. AND AGUILUCHO STREET AS PARKING
AREAS FOR GOVERNMENT AND PRIVATELY OWNED VEHICLES USED BY GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES AND
VISITORS WITH OFFICIAL TRANSACTION IN THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF PINAMALAYAN.

WHEREAS, DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2020-145 provides for the resumption of road clearing
operation depending on the quarantine classification of the local government units, giving 60 calendar days for local
government units to comply with the Presidential directive;

WHEREAS, The Municipal Mayor was authorized by the Sangguniang Bayan to designate any municipal
property/ies or public areas as parking area as provided in Section 15 of Traffic Management and Enforcement Code
of Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro;

WHEREAS, there is a need to designated parking areas to lessen the congestion of vehicles in the streets
and to ensure smooth and unhampered flow of traffic.

NOW, THEREFORE I, ARISTEO A. BALDOS, JR., by virtue of the powers vested in me by law as the
Municipal Mayor, do hereby order designation of portion of Madrid Blvd and Aguilucho Street as Parking Areas for
government and privately-owned vehicles used by government employees and visitors with official transaction in the
Municipal Government of Pinamalayan.

Section 1. SCOPE. The left portion of Madrid Boulevard adjacent to Municipal Park right side going to
national highway and portion of Aguilucho Street adjacent to the Municipal Compound are hereby designated as
“Parking Area.”

Section 2. RULES AND REGULATION IN THE USE OF PARKING AREAS. The following rules and
regulations in the use of parking areas shall be implemented:

1. All vehicles shall be parked in a manner that it does not cause undue obstruction on the thoroughfare;

2. No signs, barriers and/or other similar objects indicating No Parking or Reserved Parking shall be
placed in the designated parking area except authorized by the Local Chief Executive;

3. Washing, greasing or repairing or performing similar activities in any vehicle, except repairs
necessitated by an emergency is not allowed in the designated parking area;

4. Cleanliness and orderliness shall be observed within the area and immediate surroundings at all times;

5. All relevant laws, ordinances, department orders appertaining to traffic management and road clearing
shall be strictly followed.

Section 3. SUPERVISION. The Traffic Management Office (TMO) with direct supervision of the Municipal
Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) shall be in-charge in the implementation of this order.
They shall ensure that all motor vehicle drivers strictly followed the rules and regulations specified in this order.

SECTION 4. EFFECTIVITY. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.
