We would like to take this platform to invite your prestigious Academy/School to the RVSS
Baby League – 2019 which is scheduled to be held from 3rd Feb to 3rd March 2019 at Avigna
Celeste Football Ground, Mahindra World City, New Chennai 603 002.

Our Vision is to give all children the chance to play football to the best of their ability. This
initiative has taken by us to give platform for the kids from the age of 6 to 13 to promote
grassroots football. This tournament will give ample scope for the kids to explore their
footballing skills which will give pathway to the next level in football career. This tournament
will let the kids to attain a more match experience at a first hand.

We are planning to conduct this league for U9, U11 and U13 categories with min 8 teams in
each category. This is the 5 a side tournament and the matches will be conducted by league
basis only on Sundays. Each team will get a chance to play minimum 7 matches. This
tournament will give chance to work on match strategy and individual players development.

Winners and runners would receive trophies and medals. There would also be other individual
prizes for best performing players of the tournament. Each match there will be a player of the
match award to motivate the players. Certificates will be given to all the players participating in
the tournament.

We are planning to bring ISL and I-League players to the matches to encourage and motivate
the players. This is the great chance for the kids to interact with top class players.
There are only few slots remaining, so we will be taking the participation on first come first
basis. Paying of registration fee and submit registration form confirms the participation slot.

Tournament Guidelines
 Categories – (U13 – 2005 & 2006, U11 – 2007 & 2008 and U9 – 2009, 2010 & 2011).
 Tournament will be conducted on Sundays and one or two matches will be played by each
team on each Sunday. We may conduct matches on other days based on the teams
availability
 Game Duration : U13 – (20 – 05 – 20), U11 – (15 – 05 – 15) and U9 – (12.5 – 05 – 12.5)
 Teams are allowed to register 10 players maximum in each category.
 5 + 3 players per team for the match. A game can start minimum of 4 players among that 1
must be a goalkeeper. Registered players from lower age group can be used to make up
the minimum numbers. Teams may need to reduce their outfield players to make up equal
number of opposition players in the match.
 Fixtures and Rules and Regulations will be issued 7 days before the tournament is to be
played. They will be communicated by Email/WhatsApp to each team.
 Complete kits are necessary to participate in the tournament. A different colour for
goalkeepers. Bibs will be provided if a team doesn’t have proper match kits for all the
players.
 We will provide RVSS playing kit with team name, players name and numbers printed if
teams request for the same.
 Teams must report to the match venue one hour prior to the kick off time. Players should
carry Government ID and Tournament ID card for every match.
 Each team will be responsible for their own behaviour. Disciplinary actions will be taken
for any misconduct on or off the pitch, in and around the ground.
 Team officials will bear responsibility for registering and fielding the right age players for
the tournament. Players will be disqualified if they found overaged. Team will be
disqualified if more than 3 players found overaged.
 Teams will be solely responsible for the players injuries during the league.
 Each match there will be award for best player of the match.
 Refreshments will be given for the teams.
 Transportation can be arranged based on the teams request with nominal cost.
 Registration : Teams needs to pay Rs. 750 per player as player registration fee and submit
the registration forms on or before 22nd Jan 2019.
