AIRSIDE FLOW PLANNER (2018 to present)

 Execute the daily stand plan to deliver optimal use of pier service stands, supporting ‘on- time departures’, aircraft
towing and accommodate our airlines preferences.
 Dynamically manage arriving and departing aircraft to minimise inbound holding and pushback conflicts.
 Monitor the live operations to anticipate and / or react to disruption, adverse conditions or other unplanned events.
 Co-ordinate airline slot requests for Gatwick Airport
 Execute emergency orders during any Airfield incidents.
 Manage the Airport controlled tow teams to reposition aircrafts throughout the Apron to maximise the use of stands.

Acted as the focal point for customers and airport partners and take sole responsibility for leading and managing a team
of 100 Aircraft Dispatchers and over 300 flights per day in a safe and efficient manner. Responsible for ensuring that
the needs of individual customer airlines are fully understood and oversight of the dispatch teams to ensure that service
level agreements are met at all times.

Key Achievements:
 Selected to support the development of an IT system for managing the flight schedule, aircraft/resource allocation
and real-time updates of flight progress for DHL / Easyjet. System developed in 3 Weeks.

 Direct ground handling activities to ensure delivery of a safe, secure and punctual aircraft turnaround, acting as the
focus for safe processes and procedures.
 Maintain effective co-ordination of the suppliers and contractors engaged in the functions involved with the aircraft
turnaround.
 Act as the key liaison with all operational agencies including crews on issues arising, ‘owning’ the aircraft during
the turnaround.
 Responsible for checking that the documents handed to the crew are for the appropriate flight, date and aircraft.
 Responsible for ensuring that agreed Acceptance and Authorisation (AAA) Baggage reconciliation procedures are
followed and that the required paperwork is completed prior to departure.
