 ABOUT THE SOFTWARE

► BioTAMS stands for biometric time and attendance management

system.

► This software enables a particular company to maintain an

attendance system of its employees by registering their biometrics
(fingerprint) on day to day basis.

► The front-end of the software is developed using .NET FRAMEWORK

and the back-end using SQL Server Management Studio.

The BioTAMS ‘login window’ accepts two types of users :

1. Admin
2. Employee

 ADMIN PREVILEGES

► Manage Roles: able to modify/redefine the roles of the respected

user.
► Manage Shifts: able to edit/reschedule the start/end time for
general office, staff office etc.
► Manage AMS Devices: able to register/remove the attendance
management biometric devices.
► Register Employees: able to register employees with particular
joining date, batch, timings etc.
► Manual Adjustments: able to modify attendance management
record if the user forgot/missed to punch his attendance.
► Report Generation: able to generate reports under various
circumstances.

► Mark Attendance: able to mark their attendance with respect to

IN/OUT timing of the office.

► Change Password: able to change their passwords.

► View Reports: able to view different reports like daily report, missing
punch report, adjustments report, absent report, monthly report and
yearly report.
