Manufacturing Business Process Analyst

To this end, the role exists to:

● Provide systems expertise to the business operations teams by understanding how to maximise
business value through supporting processes with our digital tools and platforms.

● Translating the business process designs into user stories or user requirement specifications for
the functional initiatives.

● Develop key user competency and capability, through robust process documentation and training
delivery (train-the-trainer model), to ensure knowledge is transferred and sustained by the
organisation.

● Act as part of the support escalation model to troubleshoot issues and help end users in utilizing
the systems effective by being a knowledge point for the manufacturing processes and systems
design within in the organization.

● Lead the business analysis activities for manufacturing capabilities; ensuring that cross process
opportunities are identified, understood, and leveraged.
Accountabilities

● Actively contribute within your assigned projects within the program’s umbrella, understanding
the requirements from the business, providing expertise in our processes and systems.

● Develop and deliver key user training through a train-the-trainer model as we deploy the digital
platforms across different sites and regions.

●Translate principles, policies, and process design into high-quality end user documentation to drive
compliant use of our manufacturing systems and tools.

● Act as point of escalation for key users in the use of the business processes systems, providing
education on the systems and developing high-quality process documentation.

● Collaborate with key users to gather and manage master data for new deployments. Work with
data engineers to identify data requirements and flows through system integrations.

● Cooperate with internal SMEs, external partners, and service providers to identify and assess
potential improvement suggestions.
●Contribute actively to the internal manufacturing systems community to develop and share best-
practices.
Knowledge, Experience & Capabilities

This section is intended to capture the critical capabilities which the role-holder needs to perform

should focus on the role needs rather than capabilities of the present role incumbent.
Critical Knowledge

This concerns the 'know-how' to perform the role, which may have been gained through academic
study (degree, education, and certificates), business qualifications, or on-the-job experience. Specify
the type of knowledge required (e.g., of specific functional knowledge, particular systems, or
processes and to what level), not the know-how of the incumbent.

Mandatory:

● University Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject such as Production Management, Chemistry,


Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, IT or
Supply Chain.

● Solid computer literacy / digital fluency.

● Fluent in English, other languages are an advantage.

This concerns the type and minimum length of relevant experience required to effectively perform
the role. This includes experience/familiarity with processes or systems, dealing with certain
products or services, and/or the experience of dealing with others - both internally and externally.

Mandatory:

●Operational experience working in the hazardous process manufacturing industries (e.g.,


chemicals, pharma, oil & gas etc).

●Developing, manging, supporting, or using (as a key user) digital systems.

●Working on (as part of a team) or leading projects.

●Developing & delivering sustainable training to users, translating key concepts and system usage to
appropriate business language.

Critical Technical, Professional, and Personal Capabilities

This concerns the technical, professional, or personal capabilities that are required to perform the
role effectively. These may be very specific technical skills relating to the nature of the work (e.g.,
project planning), language skills and personal skills specific for the role (e.g., the ability to assess
and resolve problems and conflicts, the ability to influence and gain support, the ability to quickly
learn and apply new skills, the ability to handle pressure, etc.)
●Ability to work effectively fully remotely (occasional international business travel required).

● Analytical thinker - solves problems quickly and effectively. Breaks down complex problems into
simple and manageable steps.

●Flexible mindset, being open to new ways of working and adjusting the approach to the scope.

●Excellent communication and presentation skills.

● Team player – able to collaborate and cooperate with team members to get the optimal results for
the team.

project priorities and timelines.

● Proficiency in key IT systems such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint,
Teams). Capability in PowerBI (or other data visualisation tool) advantageous, but not required.
