SUMMARY OF FINDINGS, CONCLUSIONS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS


Summary of Findings
Based on the gathered data, the following findings were developed.
1. From a demographic profile of the respondents, civil status has a computed f-test of
4.41 while computed p-value of 0.01 which means that it is significant on the level of
awareness on gender mainstreaming in terms of ‘Learners Development.’ As the
teachers have different personal experiences from the stages of their civil status DepEd
must seek help and guidance from the expert like psychologist to discover the root
cause of the latter term which affecting on the issue of gender mainstreaming on
learners’ development.

2. The gathered data shows that it has a computed f-test of 3.11 while computed p-
value of 0.10 which means that civil status is significant on the level of awareness on
gender mainstreaming in terms of Learning Delivery.

Recommendations:
Based on the conclusions drawn, the following were recommended:
The School District management of Naic should hire a professional individual that can
help to handle the emotions or psychological aspects on demographic profile of
teachers in terms of their civil status to understands their situations and to provide their
needs appropriately based on the gender mainstreaming in terms of learners
___________________. Aside from that, conducting webinars and trainings is highly
recommended from the professional speakers connected on this issue to cope up the
struggling teachers on their emotional stage in terms of their civil status.
The School District of Naic may sustain the ‘Highly Aware’ rating in Overall results on
level of awareness on gender mainstreaming and look for steps to improve more the
‘Aware’ results on level of awareness on gender mainstreaming in Curriculum,
Instruction, and Assessment in terms of Learning Resources. Therefore, uphold the
implementation of Gender and Development program of the Department Education.
This study can serve as a guide for prospective researchers in conducting studies that
aim to seek knowledge and further testing of the theory to solve the gaps on the level of
awareness on gender mainstreaming in education. Future researchers may look into other
variables related to students' academic performance in English particularly teachers' instructional
practices and teachers' pedagogical methods.
