Rewarding Seminars, Trainings and Workshops)

Statement of the Problem

Leuteboro National High School (LNHS) serves as venue for different seminars, trainings and
workshops in Oriental Mindoro whether school, district, division, and even regional level. The school
gymnasium serves as the main venue where the participants need to convene when discussion of the
topics occur.

Unfortunately, in the past few years, it was observed and evaluated that the audience found
difficulty in listening and grasping the topic of the speaker because of malfunctioned microphones
especially if they were sitting a little farther from the speaker. Moreover, only those who were sitting at
the front can see the presentation and those occupying the back seats could hardly see the presentation
of the speaker. Aside from that, the heat in the gymnasium that the participants experienced added to
the uncomfortable feeling of them while listening to the speaker which resulted to difficulty in
concentration in listening.

The aforementioned problems serve as impetus for the project proponents to propose the
implementation of project SPEAKERS. The proponents believe that this project will help in the effective
conduct of seminars, trainings and workshops in our school. Moreover, the participants will find ease in
staying in the gymnasium while listening to the speakers, thus, making them easy to grasp the topic
being discussed by the speaker.
