Campaign highlighting Qatar´s violation of human rights in New York

“There are many billboards around New York calling

to “lift the blockade against the people of Qatar”.
The boards were in the Qatari flag colour and seen
on many building around the city.
It is not clear who sponsored the campaign, which
was visible at all prominent locations in the city. “

UN gives Qatar a year to end forced labour of migrant workers
“The warning sets the 2022 World Cup host nation on a path

allegations of forced labour after Burma, Haiti, Liberia and
Portugal. It could ultimately pave the way for international
sanctions.
The move follows an ILO delegation to the Gulf state this

Qatari Labor Reforms Could Finally End 'Modern Day Slavery' For
Migrant Workers

Qatar announced a series of reforms, which could put

an end to the oppressive “kafala” (labor system) that
human rights groups have long likened to modern
slavery. The reforms include establishing a minimal
wage, and change jobs. But most importantly finally be
able to leave Qatar. Even though is taking Qatar some
time to rearrange their reforms. They are trying to make
a change for the good of immigrants in Qatar.

FIFA: KEEP SLAVERY OUT OF THE QATAR WORLD CUP
Tell FIFA to help ensure construction for the Qatar

World Cup does not use slave labour:

“Call on the Qatar Supreme Committee for Qatar 2022 to
