GEORGIA Rain from TS Fred brought scattered showers in South Georgia. The consistent rain helped keep crop ratings in
overall mostly good condition. But significant rain over short periods of time raised concerns over nutrient
deficiency due to runoff and persistent wet/humid conditions in which disease may flourish. continued to set
heavy fruit loads, although disease pressure continued to be an issue with wet and cloudy conditions last week.
