WHAT I NEED TO KNOW

Good morning, my friend! Have you eaten your

breakfast? That’s great… Today, you will be learning
about what is real and what is made-up. But before we
proceed to our lesson this morning, please find a very
comfortable place and please don’t forget to put a glass
of water beside you, it will help you in today’s class. Are
you ready? Let’s begin…
Do you have your favorite superheroes? Can you
name them? Wow, cool! Can these superheroes fly? Do
they have special powers? How can these ordinary
people become superheroes? I love to hear your answers.
Well, these superheroes are only made-up or fantasy.
They are not real. They are only made-up for us to be
entertained most especially in television programs and in
social media. People can’t fly. We can only walk, jog,
swim, run, or even crawl.
Learning Module 4 will be focusing on the difference
between real and made-up. The activities are
understandable and enjoyable, and it is well-suited to
your learning level.
With this module, it is expected that you will
understand the differences between real and made-up
stories (fantasies), and please, never forget to learn
independently, or by your own.

WHAT IS IT

During weekends, we love to watch TV with our

family, right? Your parents love to see dramatic movies
where the actors and actresses cry, laugh, and talk to
each other. You also watch your favorite cartoons and
superhero movies with your friends in your house. You and
your parents watch different genres or categories. Your
parents love to watch real movies while you and your
friends are fond of watching made-up or fantasy movies.
Now let’s discuss them one by one.
Made-up tells about a thing that could not happen
in real life. It is only in our imagination. A Flying House; A
stone that turns into bread; among others, are some
examples of made-up. On the other hand, real or reality
could happen in real life. It exists. Examples of real or

5
reality are: The Goat Eats Grasses; The children are
playing; The mother cooks food in the kitchen; and others
of like.
Now you know the big difference between real and
made-up. It’s time for you to share what you have
learned with your parents and siblings.
