Good day Ma’am! I am writing this reference letter as a request of Ms. Rica E. Yumul who is
applying for B.A. Theatre Arts Program at University of the Philippines Diliman.

I have known Rica Yumul for the past two years, having served as his teacher in Filipino at
Arellano University. I had taught her at Senior High School and found her to be very intelligent,
hard-working and creative. She’s very attentive and has high concentration levels. She’s always
willing and eager towards learning new things.

Rica is a highly ambitious person with great intellectual acumen. She is very serious with her
studies and takes up all the tasks with full dedication. She has always been consistent in her
performance. If you go through her grades, you would get to know that she’s consistently
performed well in all of her subjects. In addition to academic excellence, Rica has also shown
interest in Music, Performance and Theatre Arts. Rica has also greatly enriched our Senior High
school life by engaging in extracurricular activities.

I believe that Rica would be an excellent addition to your institution. She is a bright and attentive
in class and in her works, she demonstrates that she is an intelligent and capable student with
great potential. She has always been among the top students in class. I am confident that she will
thrive in Theatre arts program that she chooses to pursue.
