To Whom it May Concern:

I had the pleasure of teaching Christopher Fetalvero in an English course at El Capitan High
School. In my two years of knowing Christopher, he impresses me with his ability to be
articulate about difficult concepts and texts, his sensitivity to the nuances within literature, and
his passion for reading, writing, and creative expression- both in and out of the classroom.
Christopher is talented at considering the subtleties within literature and the purpose behind the
author's works. Throughout the year, he was an active participant in our online discussions, and
he always supported his peers. His caring nature and personality allow him to work well with
others in a team setting, as he always respects others' opinions even when they differ from his
own.

His educational aspirations are ambitious and he has plans on becoming an artist. In addition to
his artistic strengths, Christopher is an active and ongoing presence in class with a great sense of
humor. His cheerful nature and openness to feedback means he's always learning and growing as
a learner, an impressive strength that will continue to serve him well at university and beyond. I
am certain that he is going to continue to do amazing scholarly and creative things in his future. I
highly recommend him for admission to your undergraduate program or any endeavor for which
he aspires. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions at 209-761-2977.
